This enables the immediate detection and removal of hard-to-diagnose, infected trees to prevent mass spreading. On Wednesday, Campden BRI hosted our final #YES24 pitch day and oh what a day we had!!! We had the privilege of seeing eight innovative pitches addressing #food and #drink challenges. The ideas ranged from plastic reduction to the development of exciting, novel food products. Each team brought a unique perspective, highlighting creativity and a commitment to shaping a more sustainable future. 🥗🍓🥤 Our judges had a tough ask – Mike Adams, Lucy R Davies, Helen Fletcher, Rachel Ward, Emma Hanby, Mike Spurr (BSc FIFST), Matthew Walsh – but after much deliberation they selected Team Caffinity Biotech (University of Leeds) and Team Vitamize (Food Consortium CTP) to claim their places in the final! Huge congratulations to all involved. 🏆👏 Thanks to Mitch Lee 🧀, Alicia Graham, PhD and Arielle Torres for sharing your inspiring career journeys and some invaluable tips.
