We're happy to see the talent and creativity of students from Highcrest Sixth Form as they take part in the Bucks Skills Hub competition. It’s been a pleasure working with them to develop innovative green initiatives that could make a real difference in their school. A huge well done for making it to the final round! 🎉 We're wishing them all the best as they pitch their ideas in front of business leaders and the Buckinghamshire Council. 💡🍀
A group of students from the Sixth Form have been taking part in a county-wide competition held by Bucks Skills Hub which is a school careers group linked to Buckinghamshire Council. This has been a brilliant opportunity for the students to work alongside a local company called Zenopa who are a UK leading medical recruitment agency. Students have been developing an idea to encourage the school to be greener in some aspects of its operations. The students have done brilliantly to get to the second round of this competition and have shown such creative business ideas and professional presentation skills. The students had a fantastic day working alongside Max McGarvie from Zenopa and they had the chance to develop their pitch to take to the competition's final which is held in the state-of-the-art Buckinghamshire Council debating chamber. The students will be competing against other schools from the County and they will be presenting their pitch to invited business leaders in the area and the head of the Council.
