Do you know the real cost of your cup? In Scotland we use 71 single-use cups per person each year - one of the highest rates compared to other nations within the European Union. Whether it's with coffee or tea or even a cold drink, disposable cups are damaging our environment and we can all do our bit by #DitchingTheDisposables

Grabbing a quick coffee before you head to the office? ☕ We want to see just how often the average 9-5 worker in Scotland is buying a takeaway coffee, tea or other hot drink - let us know in the poll below! (And don't worry, we won't tell, let's be honest we've all done it!)

Challenge yourself to a green resolution in 2025 💪 The easiest way to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill is to reduce how much we consume in the first place. Doing a 'no buy challenge' and only spending on the essentials for a week, month or even the year if you're feeling ambitious is a great way to challenge your habits and save a bit of money in the process.

Not all wrapping paper belongs in your recycling bin. Here's how to check: scrunch your paper - if it stays scrunched, it’s good to recycle! Avoid recycling glittery or metallic paper, plastic ribbons and anything with a shiny coating. This type of wrapping paper will need to go in your general waste bin.
