“I worked closely with Al over a 12-month period, while he completed not one, but three senior management-level qualifications whilst working full-time. My core role was to guide/coach/support to ensure the qualifications were achieved…but also to work through any personal objectives that Al identified at the start, or that came up over that year. Regular 1-2-1 meetings, and working so personally with a person, in a confidential and impartial manner, meant that I had the privilege of really ‘seeing’ them and how they operate. Al cares deeply about what he sets out to achieve, and his work ethic is extremely strong. He was a delight to work closely with – bright, positive, authentic, self-reflective, and compassionate.
