Clear Voice are currently looking for Account Managers to join their Sales and Marketing team. There are currently two positions available: one on a permanent contract and one on a 12- month maternity cover contract.


The successful candidate will be organised and customer focussed, with strong negotiation skills and meticulous attention to detail.


This is a client facing role and you will be responsible for owning day-to-day client relationships ensuring client retention, client satisfaction and ultimately revenue growth. You will continually seek out opportunities for ways of driving new business. As the Account Manager you will oversee your own portfolio of clients, acting as the first point of contact and providing support where needed. The Account Manager will proactively build long-term relationships with our customers through regular calls and review meetings, client visits and presentations to ensure customer retention.

As the Account Manager your duties would include:

  • Support the Sales Managers with the onboarding of new customers.
  • Facilitate expert advice and guidance to our clients on the services we provide and how to make the most of our services.
  • Lead point of contact for your assigned customers including sales, operational support, contract renewals, customer complaints, non-conformance, and improvement.
  • Build and nurture relationships with assigned customers to ensure revenue and retention targets are achieved and customer satisfaction.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients to understand their needs and recommend the most suitable products/ services or solutions to improve satisfaction and grow revenue.
  • Manage contract renewal dates, negotiate prices, and contact renewal agreements with clients in good time before the expiry of contracts.
  • Conduct market and competitor research.
  • Research prospective and existing clients for a better understanding of their requirements, product offerings, target markets etc.
  • Participate in cross-stakeholder meetings to impart client feedback and create and deliver continuous improvement plans, including new services/products aligned with our client and business objectives.
  • Manage your pipeline of qualified/active opportunities in CRM.
  • Manage the CRM database ensuring client contact information is relevant and up to date, and all opportunities, calls and meetings with the clients are logged on the CRM.
  • Deliver trainings and presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Management, escalation, and resolution of customer complaints to customer satisfaction.
  • In collaboration with the marketing team and Head of Business Development, produce campaigns and marketing collateral to support the sales strategy.


The experience and skills you need:

  • Significant account management experience
  • Demonstrable experience developing business through cross-selling and upselling
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Previous account management experience within the Language Services industry

  • Willingness to travel is required as the role will involve visiting clients and partners across the UK and overseas.
