Created and delivered by FISSS, ACE360 ensures efficient, secure and easy management of Apprenticeship Standards!
About us
ACE360 is an industry-wide End-Point Assessmment platform that enables you to manage Apprenticeship Standards efficiently, securely and paper-free. We connect LTPs to EPAOs simply, concisely and in a cost efficient manner. ACE360 has been created by the The Skills Federation (formerly FISSS), which is the designated Certifying Authority for Apprenticeships in England. FISSS is a registered Charity and a not for profit Private Limited Company. Our aim is to advance the education of employed and unemployed persons by promoting, organising and delivering skills development. FISSS has more than 15 years of experience delivering high-quality IT solutions to the education sector through the predecessor ACE system. With over 2,000 organisational accounts, ACE has successfully certified over 1.7 million Apprenticeships since launch, reducing the cost and bureaucracy associated with Apprenticeship certification. The ACE360 system has been developed to meet the needs of the education and training sector involved in delivering the new Apprenticeship Standards. With increased complexity and multiple partner organisations, Apprenticeship Standards could burden organisations with additional administration. ACE360 resolves those issues and provides an end-to-end online solution leaving your organisation the time to deliver your role in the process. With a reputation in the industry for maintaining quality and delivering efficiency, ACE360 is the only non-commercial, impartial Apprenticeship Management System on the market.

We’ve been hearing from so many of you about #SkillsEngland - and it’s no surprise, given its potential to reshape the skills landscape! To address your questions, our Head of Policy at Skills Federation, Alison Morris, has tackled some of the most common ones in this month’s ACE360 Newsletter. From the goals of the Skills England Report to its potential impact on apprenticeship funding and opportunities for employers, Alison offers clarity on what we know so far. Why has the Skills England Report been released❓ One of the five government missions is to drive growth, and skills are a key part of achieving this. The report provides Skills England’s first assessment of skills needs in the economy and sets out some of the current challenges including skills shortage vacancies, a fragmented skills system, and the lack of clear progression routes for learners. How does this report affect apprenticeship funding❓ While the report highlights the value of apprenticeships as a key part of the solution, funding implications depend on future government decisions. Skills England will be identifying which training should be available via the new Growth and Skills Levy. Which sectors are expected to grow❓ The Skills England report includes an initial assessment of skills needs and this will be built on following further analysis. The Industrial Strategy Green Paper has also recently been published, and this identifies eight sectors that are expected to drive growth across the economy. The sectors are advanced manufacturing, clean energy industries, creative industries, defence, digital and technologies, financial services, life sciences, and professional and business services. What opportunities does this offer employers❓ Skills England is currently consulting with a wide range of stakeholders including employers, providers, and Skills Federation members. This provides an opportunity for employers to help shape the emerging strategies and policy decisions that will be based on this. There is also an opportunity to respond formally to the Industrial Strategy Green Paper by 24 November. Employers have a unique chance to shape the conversation through ongoing consultations and responses to the Industrial Strategy Green Paper! #DepartmentforEducation #FAQs #Government #HE #FE

The ACE360 and Skills Federation (aka FISSS) team very much enjoyed meeting you all at this year's UVAC Conference in Birmingham. Lots of interesting conversations about how Universities can address the various challenges present within higher education apprenticeships with our EPA management solution built by the sector, for the sector. Didn't manage to make it to the conference and speak to our team in person? Book an online meeting with Keith Truslove, Account Director at ACE360, to learn how our solution can benefit your organisation. https://lnkd.in/euzKdCDm
During our recent panel discussion on the challenges faced by HEIs delivering degree apprenticeships, experts from Middlesex University and Buckinghamshire New University shared valuable insights and explained how ACE360 has helped them navigate and overcome these challenges. We were thrilled to host this much-needed discussion last week - thanks to University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC) and their team for an outstanding event, and to our special guests, Steven Willis from Middlesex University and Alex Morrison from Buckinghamshire New University! Key takeaways 🗒️ - Consistency in roles and accountability is essential across apprenticeship programmes. - Dedicated roles like Apprenticeship Partnership Managers (APMs) streamline support for apprentices and employers. - Clear communication with employers helps strengthen apprenticeships and workplace support. - Separating EPA from on-programme delivery reduces conflicts of interest and boosts quality assurance. #HigherEd #DegreeApprenticeships #ApprenticeshipDelivery #HEI #EducationInsights
