A great day today at RM headquaters with our amazing E-ACT Heads of PE. An excellent session considering the use of adaptive comparative judgement in assessing performance in PE. As part of our redevelopment of KS3 assessment across E-ACT we continue to consider the role of innovation in developing an approach that provides reliable and valid assessment data at scale that can be utilised to foster the highest quality curriculum experiences for our students. Our work today will support our approach to reimagining assessment in KS3 creative, technical and performance subjects on the back of our learnings from our assessment trials in Art. Mark will be joined by Niilante Ogunsola-Ribeiro and his colleagues Professor Niels "Storm" Robitzky and Kevin Gopie from the Dance Adjudication Network to share their learnings from the development of a holistic approach to the assessment of breakdancing at the Paris Olympics - where they implemented their 'Trivium Judging System', anchored in comparative judgement methodology.
