🌟 Celebrating a milestone for Midlands businesses! 🌟 Our Midlands Engine Investment Fund II has reached an incredible milestone, investing over £17m in just nine months! 🚀 This funding has supported 70 diverse businesses, ranging from manufacturers to tech innovators. An additional £10m of private investment has been invested alongised —bringing the total to £27 million for the region. We are proud to support the growth of smaller businesses across the region, helping them scale, innovate, and drive economic progress. A two-time breast cancer survivor Alexandra Perry found it difficult to find attractive post-surgery bras after her operations and she realised she wasn't the only one. With a Start Up Loan from First Enterprise - Enterprise Loans, she started H.E.R Bodywear to bring post-surgery bras that are medically approved and designed to enhance women's confidence to the market. "Since I founded my business I have received tremendous support and have been able to share my story across multiple platforms. To be chosen as the Ambassador for the East Midlands as an example as a success from the Start Up Loans programme is flattering - I am excited to see what’s next for my business," says Alexandra.
