Food ingredients Europe... Thank you for being a spectacular event! Surrounded by 1500+ exhibitors and over 25,000 passionate people, the show floor was the perfect place to network and connect with likeminded organisations with the same mission as us. Highlights from the event include: 🚀 Our West Director Gulsah Uysal was part of the Women's Networking Breakfast alongside Dr. Susan Kleiner Samantha Garwin and Francesca Berry, who shared their personal stories about success within the food and drink industry and gave the audience an opportunity to mingle and meet fellow empowering, female allies. "As women, we need to celebrate our successes, not put them on the back burner!" - Gulsah Uysal 💪 🚀 Our Ecosystem Manager Laura Elphick shared the stage with our startup BettaFish (represented by Leonie Wagner) to discuss how innovation and collaboration can build a better food system. This session shared the success story of BettaFish and highlighted opportunities that can lead to collaboration and success. It was fantastic to hear Leonie Wagner from BettaFish on stage, to learn about their startup journey and developing their #plantbased fish products. 🥁 We are excited to announce that the top 9 companies for the Mars Challenge on Fibre Valorisation have been revealed! In August, we launched an open innovation Challenge with our EIT Food Strategic Partner Mars Petcare to find organisations who could transform insoluble vegetable fibres into material which can be digested by cats and dogs. We had 49 applicants including startups, established companies and research organisations and it was tough to select the best ones!
