Mediation Tech Tracker from CIArb

Alternative Dispute Resolution

With ever-increasing choice in technology for mediation, where do you start? With our no-nonsense insights and guides!

About us

The pandemic has accelerated the pace of technology adoption amongst mediators. For lack of alternatives, most mediators have become “online mediators”. It is arguable whether this shift can be hailed as transformative – yet we live in a world where transformation is necessary. Are we, as mediators, merely updating? At long last catching up with the modern habits and expectations of dispute resolution stakeholders. Or are we truly upgrading, and fully utilising the potential of technology to improve the mediation user experience? Are those changes deep enough for mediation to not only survive but to thrive in the 21st century? Mediation Tech Tracker provides a new mediator’s toolkit, fit for the digital economy and society. We aim to provide you with the relevant know-how on the intersection of mediation and technology. This autumn, we’re bringing you insights and practical guides on the latest and most useful mediation tech. Along with expert guests, we’ll look at the current best practices, changes and trends defining the future of mediation. You’re invited to: • attend our Thursday lunchtime expert sessions on design thinking, social media, AI and automation, CX/UX and more. These are online, open to all and free of charge. Every Thursday, 1-2 pm (UK Time); • read our Tuesday blog posts on the defining trends and the relevant tech tools and their application in mediation. Available on this LinkedIn page; • follow this Linkedin page for even more updates and insights on bringing innovation to mediation. > Find out more about the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) here: www.linkedin.com/company/ciarbofficial > Explore CIArb’s mediation training here: www.ciarb.org/training/ > Register for CIArb’s DAS Convention on 1 December 2021 here: www.ciarb.org/events/das-convention-2021/ Contacts: Isabel Phillips, Head of Mediation, CIArb and Karolina Jackowicz, FCIArb, Mediator and UX Designer
