Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust had the chance to show off the #Teletracking Care Coordination Centre (CCC) https://lnkd.in/gDuyjhjJ when Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves MP and Chief Secretary to the Treasury Darren Jones MP came by for a tour. The CCC uses real time data to constantly monitor the Trust’s 700 beds to improve the movement of patients through its hospitals. It has reduced the amount of time a bed is empty, making sure patients arriving by ambulance are quickly moved into our emergency departments. This ensures patients get the right care, in the right place at the right time, helping to minimise discharge delays and getting patients home or to their next place of care as quickly as possible. #DigitalHealth #Interoperability #NHS #HealthTech

The recent Health Service Journal article underscores a critical insight for NHS digital transformation: interoperability is not just a buzzword—it’s essential. Government advisers are cautioning healthcare leaders against adopting digital solutions, like Epic, unless they fully integrate with existing NHS systems such as the NHS App. Why? Seamless data exchange empowers staff with the right information, at the right time, for better decision-making and patient care. While EMRs play a vital role, they don’t address every operational challenge. Instead, healthcare providers need purpose-built, interoperable digital solutions that deliver measurable outcomes and proven ROI. Tools like TeleTracking provide strategic support, focusing on patient flow, resource optimization, and operational efficiencies—helping organizations unlock the full potential of their data. Digital transformation isn’t just about technology adoption; it’s about creating a connected ecosystem that ensures every innovation contributes to tangible results. As healthcare faces increasing demands, solutions that prioritize integration, efficiency, and outcomes are non-negotiable for success. Read the Top 10 reasons why your Electronic Medical Record (EMR) can't keep up with your operational demands. https://lnkd.in/gXpPQxNj. Healthcare leaders have shared that the core medical record functionality of the EMR for clinical documentation and billing functionalities is critical, but they lack robust capabilities when it comes to operations, logistics, and the “flow” of patients, resources, and staff within, and across a hospital or health system. Now, more than ever, health systems need an operational complement to the EMR, one that provides the visibility necessary to improve operations, patient access, and workflow management to create true enterprise-wide efficiency. #EMR #healthcare #patientflow

The recent UK budget https://lnkd.in/gA_4ASqx marks a transformational period for the NHS, with an additional £22.6 billion in operating funding. TeleTracking welcomes this increase and the £2 billion for technology investment to help the NHS meet its 2% productivity target. Our focus is on contributing to the NHS's upcoming 10-year plan - particularly the shift from hospital-based to community-based care, digitisation and preventative health. This budget provides a strong foundation, but timely implementation is key. TeleTracking urges proactive action to ensure readiness for winter 2025/26. Our patient flow solutions can support the NHS's ambition to optimise pathways, improve outcomes and maximise operational efficiency. Here are some of my key takeaways: 1. Increased funding for digital health: With the Budget's emphasis on digital transformation, TeleTracking's solutions are poised to help the NHS better manage patient flow, reduce waiting times and improve efficiency. 2. Operational focus for technology: As healthcare shifts technology investment towards operational rather than capital expenditure, TeleTracking's solutions provide agile, scalable tools to keep pace with evolving needs. 3. Supporting the NHS's long-term goals: With the NHS's 10-year plan due in May 2025, TeleTracking is ready to contribute to digital infrastructure, data interoperability and expanded metrics for patient outcomes. #NHSbudget #HealthTech #PatientFlow #DigitalTransformation #TeleTrackingUK

The NHS is currently facing significant challenges due to "winter pressures," which typically include increased surge in hospital admissions due to seasonal illnesses like flu and COVID-19, as well as other winter-related health issues. Patients who are medically fit are unable to leave the hospital due to a lack of social care support, leading to bed shortages. And all this adds a high demand on staff, who already experience shortages, causing burnout among healthcare workers, impacting their ability to provide timely care. These issues collectively strain the healthcare system, making it difficult to meet performance targets and provide high-quality patient care. These mounting challenges underscore the urgent need for systemic changes and innovative solutions to support both patients and healthcare providers. The recent UK Budget announcement https://lnkd.in/gdSD3Dhu of a £22.6 billion increase in NHS funding signals a critical opportunity to address these issues head-on. With this investment, there's a clear focus on changing care models - from hospital-centred to community-based, from analogue to digital, and from reactive to preventative care. This is a pivotal moment for technology and operational transformation across the NHS, and health tech leaders are optimistic. But the way forward is to balance improved patient outcomes with strategic financial benefits. As Neil Griffiths, managing director of TeleTracking UK, explains: "We welcome the increase in NHS funding, particularly the attention to digital transformation and technology. This is an opportunity for the NHS to drive 2% productivity improvements through modernised workflows, strategic use of data and agile solutions that can adapt to changing patient needs. By acting early, we can better prepare for future demands, including the critical winter period.” With the NHS 10-year plan expected next spring, leaders are preparing to invest in adaptable technology solutions to effectively meet emerging needs. While the significant capital allocation in the new budget provides a foundation for growth, it's critical that this investment is aligned with both operational flexibility and rapid implementation across facilities. At TeleTracking, we look forward to helping the NHS use these resources effectively to unlock the potential for streamlining patient flow, reducing waiting times and ultimately delivering on the promise of better, more responsive care. #NHSTransformation #HealthTech #UKHealthcare #DigitalHealth #PatientFlow

#TeleTracking recognized as 2024 Winner in the Financial Times’ ‘Reinvention Champions’ project https://bit.ly/3URsDSp What it’s all about? Recognising companies in Europe that have made a clever change to what they do — to stay relevant and successful. For the past three years, the Financial Times has recognized the European companies they (and their readers) consider to be ‘Tech Champions’ — for their development, or application, of technology to meet the big business challenges. FT readers nominated them and a panel of judges then chose the best examples in eight sectors. Given the geopolitical and environmental backdrop, many of the businesses that stood out this year have pivoted to focus on sustainability, security, health and use of resources. The judges picks’ for 2024, with FT readers’ reasons for nominating them, and the other shortlisted companies in their sector can be found here 👉 https://bit.ly/3URsDSp #NHSInnovation, #HealthcareEfficiency, #DigitalTransformation, #HealthTech
