The hotel location is perfect if you are traveling by train and need to move around the train station. Is not near to the city center so for that is not so convenient. Amenities, rooms, staff excellent. And free shuttle to the train station.

I have stayed at Somerset many times. The location of this Somerset is not very central, but it is cost-effective. When a family of 5 travels, you can also make some midnight snacks. It is very convenient. The room is spacious and clean. I will choose Somerset next time.

Tianhe Airport/Panlong City/Outlet
Will I stay here again? Absolutely yes! It's flawless and by far the best hotel i have stayed in China and in my life. Firstly, when i stepped in, the front desk lady (小慧)was so friendly and patient to bribg me through the check in process smoothly and professionally. She patiently explained all the details and services available such as free meal services delivered by robot to room, free airport shuttle, breakfast timing and free laundry services. Secondly, when stepped into the room, the room was so modern, sparkling clean and hi-tech. There was no foul smeel and smoking smell. Fruits (banana and madarain oranges) and some snacks were provided for free. The curtain can be open or close eith a press of the button beside the bed. The warm pressure and temperature are just right and functioning well almost instantaneously. The toilet bowl is also high tech and equipped with sensor and remote control that can heat up your cold butt in cold winter and wash your butt after your business. Thirdly, there's a cute little robot that can accurately deliver meals to your roon! So cool! Lastly, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous and amazing. Also the best i have had staying in China. Many varieties from small xakes, pastries, dim sum, vegetables, noodles, rice, salad, tea leaves, coffee, fruits, yogurt, juices, porridge and etc. The dining ambience is also relaxing and nice although it will be perfect if smoking is disallowed there. Finally i also wish to extend my thank to the other frontdesk ladies who were on duty onthe night of 2 Jan 2024 and 3 Jan morning as they were also super friendly, polite and attended to my queries well. I offered a small tips of 10 yuan but they turned down as they insisted they are not supposed to accept tips. I am sad but still they are doing their job professionally and i am impressed. ❤️💜💖💙💛💚🤍 Truely a 5/5 stars hotel. Thank you.

After traveling to so many places, staying at the Mercure Yangluo really made me feel at home. I was deeply touched by the warm and thoughtful service of the beautiful manager Liu at the front desk. I will stay at the Mercure Yangluo again next time I travel.
Modena Wuhan Zhuankou Fraser Suites

Zhuankou Economical Development Zone (International Expo Center)
Modena is clean and staff are friendly. Unfortunately it’s not near a subway and is a long ways from the airport. 2 complaints: 1) beds are hard. I’ve stayed at Modena in the past. I don’t remember the beds being quite so stiff. But I would think twice before staying again. Uncomfortable beds are a deal breaker. 2) there are 0 USB plugs in the room. The wall sockets are in serious need of upgrading.

Xibei Road/Central Business District
this is a well established hotel just beside of the well known pedestrian street Jianghan, just 5min walk to metro station, with rent bicycle available all around station and beyond. Lawsons is also very near.Hotel lobby is of a grand classical style and lifts fitting royals, room amenities more than one can expect, all was just amazing. Pagoda and bridge was the best. but Jianghan street daily overcrowded, with 5x more ppl than it can accommodate, same with Gode temple.

What a fabulous quirky boutique type hotel in a great location for exploring Hankou Bund Cultural Area, perfect spot for a stroll along the river park, the bund, the back streets and main stream shopping. Our room overlooked the Yangtze River so we had an amazing light show along the river bank every night till 10pm. The room was clean and bed large and comfortable, and we were happy for the bathtub (along with separate shower). Staff were amazing and despite our lack of Chinese they were very helpful and would always find us an English speaker if needed. Breakfast was wholesome and varied, with anything from Pastries to Re Gan Mian. The hotel had lots of facilities that we made use of, from the a fully kitted out laundry room (great as we'd been travelling a bit), gym and a fab rooftop bar with terrace. All round great experience and good value.

My best friend is a frequent guest at the hotel. Xiao Liu has always come to Wuhan to play with her best friend. She directly pushed Xiao Liu’s WeChat to me. After placing an order online, I needed to take a screenshot of the order number and give Xiao Liu an upgrade based on the order number. The WeChat communication was very pleasant and according to my preferences. I was assigned a room on the sixth floor with a free upgrade. The room was very spacious and quiet. Xiao Liu made the room non-smoking in advance and replaced the latex pillow with a few extra bottles of mineral water. In the evening, I went to meet my best friend for dinner. On the way back, I sprained my foot and complained. One of my friend posts was seen by Xiao Liu. Xiao Liu quickly gave me a large bowl of ice cubes and packed me a gift bag of snacks. He said that the swelling must be reduced otherwise the pain will make me unable to sleep at night. It was so considerate. No wonder my best friends are at this hotel every time. The morning after I checked in, Xiao Liu kindly sent me a message to ask if I was okay. If there was no inconvenience, he could send breakfast to the room👍👍 It was the first time I encountered such a considerate and warm front desk, but because of the timely message yesterday, I went down to eat by myself. When Xiao Liu saw me coming down, he greeted me with a smile and told me that I could delay check-out in the room and reissued my card to avoid demagnetization. I was very satisfied with it. I will recommend this hotel without hesitation to my friends in the future when they come to Wuhan. I give Xiao Liu’s service 100%👍👍

Grand Canyon Mufu Town
In order to visit Qixing Village and Yunlong Seam in Enshi Grand Canyon in two days, I found his home on Ctrip as a transfer. Although we only stayed for one night, the thoughtfulness and meticulousness of the hostess and sister made us feel very warm. First of all, their pick-up and drop-off service is very good. We just arrived at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center from Enshi the day before yesterday, and the little boss drove us to take our luggage back, and then told us the route of Yunlong Seam and how to find the B&B after visiting. The next day, they sent us to the visitor center to change our tickets early the next morning, and then sent us to the station when we came back. To talk about a small detail, the little boss carried our suitcases to the minibus back to Enshi and watched us get on the bus before leaving. Secondly, the location of his home is very convenient. It is very convenient to the bus and cableway transfer station of the scenic spot. It is only a few minutes' walk from a small gate, which is suitable for going to the scenic spot early in the morning. In addition, his food is also very delicious. In the evening, my mother and daughter ordered a 128 yuan bacon set meal, which came with tomato scrambled eggs and twice-cooked pork cabbage. The portion was so big that we couldn't finish it. In the morning I ordered a bowl of tomato egg noodles and brown sugar steamed cake. The size of the cake is four times that of Shanghai. Because it was so delicious, I showed off two of them. Before leaving, the landlady gave us two bottles of mineral water for us to drink on the way. This B&B is really worth recommending to friends who want to visit Enshi Grand Canyon.
