We had a great stay, the room was clean and spacious with a modern bathroom.. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool. The food wasn’t great though and expensive for small portions.
Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City
4.7/56638 Reviews
Hotel is clean and comfortable. A good location close to a shopping center. Opposite the hotel is a small area (Xibeijao), where you can buy traditional food from Tianjin. The breakfast is ok but it’s more the Chinese style. For western guests they provide coffee, some toast, jam and the typical Chinese sausage. Don’t expect too much from it.

Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin

Tianjin Railway Station/Ancient Culture Street/Italy Customs Area
Overall we had a lovely stay here. The location is great, and the rooms and reception area were beautifully decorated. The pool and gym were amazing (best hotel gym I've ever seen!), and never very busy. Staff were friendly and polite. And there was never a queue for the lifts. There were a few niggles which I'll list below for other people who appreciate these types of details, but they were by no means deal breakers. Niggles included: - we always had a long wait at reception to be served - the deposit is large (almost the price of the stay again) - no plugs on one side of the bed so you can't charge your phone next to you - the minibar wasn't very cold - no takeout delivery to rooms (usually this is done by robot) - beds are very soft which might give some people backache - our toilet cistern kept running (we fixed it ourselves every time) - the shower leaked - the blinds over the windows are all or nothing, there are no curtains that you can just pull over part of the window - the swimming pool is very shallow at just 1.2 metres with no deep end - this made swimming difficult for both of us as we're on the taller side - you must sign a declaration before every swim/workout (I think once per customer would be enough!) and wear a swimming cap in the pool (the hotel sells them).

The Crowne plaza met the standards. The room was luxurious and comfortable. It was a great experience.
The Astor Hotel Tianjin

Overall nice, historical hotel with, great location to explore Tianjin. However during our stay there were some drawbacks: - The rooms to the rear of the old part of the building are really noisy, even though the windows and doors have been replaced with modern ones. It's not understandable to me why a five star hotel replaces windows and balcony doors with insufficient ones if they decide to do so. - We wanted to use the pool/wellness area, which was closed due to ”technical issues”. No further explanation, compensation etc. was given and this has not been communicated during the booking or elsewhere. - We showed up at 10:30 sharp for breakfast (which was until 10:30 at least) and were sent away since ”there's nothing left”. Also, no compensation was offered except for some cheap fridge magnet from the hotel's museum. Overall, value for money is questionable (1600 RMB for one night). Next time I will choose a hotel of an established international chain, such as Shangri-La.
Pan Pacific Tianjin

Well located hotel and was easy to get to by a 20 minute walk from the metro. Friendly staff were very helpful with our queries and were able to assist us with checking in early. They also helped me book a restaurant and all spoke very good English. The hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms were well appointed. I would certainly stay there again and will look to use this brand again.
Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin
4.6/52438 Reviews
Binjiang Road/Xiao Bai Lou/Five Avenue Scenic Area
Due to a sudden trip to Beijing, I had the pleasure of enjoying a weekend staycation at the Four Seasons Tianjin once again. This time, I opted for a new package on Ctrip, which proved to be delightful. The room was immaculate, the facilities were well-organized, and the food was delicious. Moreover, the warm and gracious hospitality was consistent throughout my stay. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Selina from the Front Desk and Sunny & Coco from the Executive Club. Their professionalism ensured that my stay was comfortable and pleasant.
Hilton Tianjin Eco-City
4.6/52710 Reviews
I came to Tianjin with my family and chose this Hilton (there are several Hiltons in Tianjin). It was really good. There is a cute pet park and a good swimming pool. It is the right choice for traveling with children. Very satisfied, stayed for another night, a total of two days. With children, the front desk service ambassador Miss Wu Tong replaced the twin beds that can be put together. It is very spacious. It is recommended that if you need this bed type, you can contact the hotel in advance to inquire. The children like the cute pet park very much, and they can also interact with the reptiles! The overall experience is very good, and the enthusiasm of the front desk staff will carefully introduce the overview of the hotel! The needs raised can also be paid attention to and solved in time~ Highly recommended!

Facilities: Top-notch Hygiene: Very good Environment: Impeccable Service: Absolutely five-star It happened to be my birthday when I came to this city to play, and I happened to stay in such a high-end hotel, which made me reluctant to leave. The men and women who greeted the guests were all good-looking.
