The location is great, service was superb, I ordered 4 beds-room and it was quite clean. The downside of the bed (room) is they only provide one plug for the type of charger that I have so it was kinda difficult to charge my phone and powerbank at the same time. The bathroom and 6 beds-room is only separated by curtain, can't quite imagine the experience. Also, they only have 1 shower for 10 guests, so you def can't be in a hurry.

I booked 8 beds female dorm and the room is clean, comfy, and spacious! Bed, bedding, pillow are all amazing, solid wooden bed frame - no sound. Great window view too but could hear a little noise from the street - the hostel provides earplugs for free! Also complimentary clean towel, bottled water, indoor slippers. The hostel organise lunch & dinner & drinking event, can ask front staffs for more info. Lunch was great! There’re about 4 cats and they’re super chill. Doesn’t smell at all. Staffs are super helpful, overall many lovely people. Location : take Exit 9 of Xiaoshizi station. Turn right and walk all the way towards a Chinese bank, 9th floor of XinChongQing apartment (新重庆公寓)。
Heye Youth Hostel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street)

The hostel is right next to a metro station and only a couple of minutes walk from the cave-tourist spot or shopping street, that’s a big plus. I also enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Bathrooms, community area and beds were ok, staff spoke little English but was nice and helpful when approached. Big minus for me, as an international traveler, were some other (local) guests in the hostel, felt like some people living there and not as tourists. Therefore not respecting cleanliness in the bathrooms, leaving the dorm room open deep in the night and smoking in the dorm. When I approached the staff about the smoke, they were kinda helpful but also didn’t do much. I think some standart rules ( they put up signs ) just should be communicated also to local guests more impactful. Would I recommend it? For 1-2 nights maybe, but if you want to share travel infos with other international travelers this place is maybe not the best for that.

There are a lot of cats. I went to see the Mars concert. There were so many cats and I was very happy. The dormitory was very quiet and there were many emergency items. It was very comfortable to live in. The air conditioning was very strong. It was even so cold that I had to cover myself with a quilt. It was my first time staying in a youth hostel and the experience was very good. I will come again next time if I have the chance.

The room was very clean. I was alone in the room with my partner. It was quiet and very nice. The location was very good. It was right in Shancheng Lane. You just had to carry your suitcase up a few steps. It was a backpacker's hostel. It was too rushed. I didn't have time to pet the cats. It was very suitable for a single person. It was safe and hygienic. You could also find a companion for dinner.

This is the most considerate B&B I have ever stayed in. Not only are hairdryers but also curling irons provided. Hats and bags on the wall can be borrowed for free. There are many umbrellas at the door. The slippers are also very clean and there is a full basket of toothbrushes. Leave it there for later use. The landlord has considered all the supplies the girls may need, which is very considerate. The ladies who live with me are also very warm and kind.

Landing City Youth Hostel (No. 4 Zhongshan Road Store, Chongqing)

A perfectly fine hostel/hotel. Landing City Youth Hostel is close to the city centre and about 15 mins from the nearest metro stations. It took us a while to find the entrance - it is on Zhongshansanlu despite what the English address seems to say, and the sign above the door has another name in addition to Landing. Upon arrival we weren't taken to a room in the same building, but were walked 5 minutes to a different hotel (accessed via a back door). The room was nice though, with a large bathroom and good shower, good air conditioning and a clean bed.

We booked a double bunk bed, and the environment and hygiene are OK. Wet and dry areas, toilets and baths are separated. The curtains on the beds are good for blocking light, and there is no table, so we can only put some things on the windowsill. The public functional areas are complete and new. Exit 6A of Jiaochangkou Station, you can see it when you walk up the slope of the snack street. It is also very convenient to go to other classics

Perfect location, close to the subway line 2 and 1 which connects easily to most of the tourist locations. You can actually walk to many places like the street food, the raffles city, the bridges. There’s a lot of food options close to te hostel too. The hostel is very clean all the time and Mr.Will explained to how to move and where to go in Chongqing, they have a map and a book with recommendations that they made. I would defined come back. ( and the mattress is comfortable! )
