First impressions were great nice clean hotel staff very helpful and friendly its a lovely hotel the room was spacious clean and the bed was really really comfortable we loved it. We had a sea view balcony room and the view was amazing we could hear the waves lapping the sandy beach morning and night it was so relaxing. There wasnt many issues really only that the rooms could be better sound proofed as we could hear the tv next door and people moving about their room apart from that it wasnt a problem. Aircon was great we had a safe in the room and a fridge the shower was amazing! The breakfast was pretty basic all european meats sliced sausage eggs streaky bacon which was a bit hard but nothing special. Also had various pastries cakes donuts etc and again a nice view from the dining room of the beach. Overall the casablanca playa was ideal for us and we would stay here again if we ever came back to Salou its away from all the noise in town which is only a 15 min walk away but theirs plenty of shops bars and restraunts nearby and we found it to be a very nice pleasant stay and would highly recommend

As a family of 4 we stayed at ibersol apartments salou because it was cheap, open in February and near portaventura parks, u really get what u pay for here so if ur fussy do not book this hotel ,cheap accomadation, very basic, old and run down inside, dont undrstand why guests have to pay a 100 deposit as the rooms are already in a bad state,i have stayed in much better places and never had to give a deposit. I took pictures of repairs needed to show reception staff what the room was like when we entered it ,they too did not understand why guests were asked to pay 100 deposit either as apartments are already in need of such repair, shower door even fell off while using the shower, home over 2 weeks now and have not received our deposit back,i will make an enquiry today, double bed was so hard i cant describe it,my back was in bits. Seems like some of the apartments have full time resisdents, alot of men seem to reside here, coming and going all times of day and night.i would not come back here but i did know what to expext as i had read alot of reviews similar to mine before i booked and as it was so cheap we decided to stay.Despite all this great heating system, apartments were nice n warm which is needed in february. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, they should recieve praise from managment for this.
September 14th 2024. The good. I have been to this hotel before, in late September of 2015. Not much changed in terms of room or amenities as far as I can remember. It has always been a very good hotel in Salou. Clean, spacious rooms, good beds and awesome showers, great pool area for those windy days, close to the beach and nice restaurant La Gaviota right across the street. Very good security and next to grocery chain store Michelangelo. The bad. In my hotel experience I have never met a front person that is more unfriendly, unwelcoming and snobbish than this gentleman named Alpha. This guy acted like he was a descendant of some African Royal family that was forced to work front desk the minute we walked in and had some questions. I really got these reversed Coming to America vibes. Not a single smile, snobbish answers to normal questions. Just silly, pretentious attitude and mannerisms. Front concierges switch shifts with sister hotel Blaumar which is considered to be an upgrade so I felt like he wasn't happy being at Magnolia shift. Thank to all African Gods he was the only front person that had something up his behind. Everyone else was very helpful and friendly. In particular I want to mention Valeria. She helped me late night to get hot tea to the room when my wife caught a light cold. Rest of the gentlemen were also great. Except this Alpha who is more like a Kappa.
The hotel is great, has a very chill and modern hall. The reception staff are super friendly and attentive. Not so much the cabins who serve in the buffet at breakfast that was the only thing we consumed there. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. We stayed a week in a 4th floor two bed apartment which was very clean, well equipped , with pool view large balcony and had its own boiler supplied hot water . The apartments are a bit dated inside and out and the exterior could do with smartening up but the pool and sunbathing area are very well kept and clean . When we stayed there were plenty of available sunbeds . We did see the pool attendant reluctantly removing towels from reserved sunbeds first thing in the morning after waiting for a while . This seems reasonable .. he is only doing what he’s been asked to do by owners . One slightly inconvenient thing is that there are no toilets around the pool area , so you have to go back to the apartment . The apartments are in the “town” area rather than the busy “tourist area” at the other end of the beach . Although there are plenty of local cafes , supermarkets and bars in the area . The apartments are about a fifteen min walk from the beach . Be aware that two sunbeds and a parasol is €25 a day . I had read negative comments about staff in reception , but I found them helpful and friendly . Just because someone doesn’t have a great command of English doesn’t make them “rude and unfriendly “. The staff were helpful in getting a parasol for the hot balcony and were accommodating when we wanted a late check out on our apartment ( albeit with a small charge )
Pros - close to the park and close enough to go for food at night.
Breakfast was nice and not to busy if you go at 8am. Expect to queue otherwise
Cons - we did the roulette but they didn't even tell us which hotel we were in. We ended up just turning up to el paso and finding that we were meant to be staying there.
They also failed to send through our room number and then to top it off after giving details to reception for our pickup car the security refused entry because they hadn't been sent through.
Pool side loungers were really uncomfortable. Toilet paper was worse than the 2 star budget we stayed in next and some toiletries that were meant to be provided were empty.
I wouldn't class this as a 4star hotel and we didn't even visit in peak season so some of the above isn't something I would expect.
Just back from a lovely visit to Salou. 5 friends all ladies. These apartments were fantastic, clean, spacious rooms, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, dish washer, spacious balcony. Couldn't have asked for more. However weather improved in the past few days and we went to the pool. The pool and the pool area badly needs upgrading. The pool was freezing, it's possibly warm in high season? Overall due to the proximity to the beach, bars and restaurants and the fabulous apartments I would highly recommend a visit.
