Amazing staff and the hotel is so beautiful.great location, central to everything. Funicular is just 2 mins away and the station is just next turn. Located just overlooking the beautiful lake como. A must visit to this place and hotel try and book the room facing the lake. Unfortunately when we tried it was completely full. Breakfast is really good and all staff were extremely courteous. Loved loved loved it

My daughter and I had a splendid stay at the Palace Hotel Lake Como, which is a historic and elegant property on the lakefront. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beautiful Como Cathedral and the charming old town. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with an open and lovely view. The breakfast was delicious and varied, even with smoked salmon for breakfast, coffee was excellent. The staff was courteous and attentive, and made us feel at home. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing vacation in Como!

Clean and smooth check in. Room is great and basic amenities. Right in front of the ferry dock which is super convenient and also many cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast spread is good too many options and staff is always friendly. Super recommend 👍🏻

Amazing! We loved this hotel and we loved how thoughtful they were. It was raining outside and they left umbrellas by the door for us to borrow.

Best location in Como city. A few meters from the town centre. Excellent buffet breakfast. Amazing views and really good facilities. Super comfortable beds and overall well-appointed rooms and bathrooms.

The hotel was very well located, the staff were all pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful in a lovely room, everything was kept very clean and the shampoo/conditioner/moisturiser nice.

We visited Como to celebrate a birthday in this magical place. Disgusting service when there was a mistake made at check in … it was an understandable mistake made by the lady checking me in (we are all human after all). I had accepted there was nothing that could be done at the time and as I had booked through trip.com I was referred back to them to arrange a refund for the difference between my booking and the room provided. Unfortunately the hotel then lied to the booking provider about the events that took place and as a result I ended up paying $900 a night to stay in a standard $600 odd room for 2 nights. After receiving the telephone transcript from trip.com I confronted them about the lie the front desk lady said because she wasn’t the person that checked me in she just went on what she thought must have taken place. Thanks to Marcel for doing his best to help out on the last night. Very much appreciated. General manager unavailable to see me to resolve. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere Btw Como itself is absolutely amazing and definitely worth a visit

We lived in Como for a while and walked past this hotel every day. It's literally on the lakefront and as central to the centro storico, the bus station and the train station as it is possible to get. We always thought it would be a nice place to stay. Roll forward and we had reason to visit Como again this week so we booked it. I also booked another room for someone we were planning to meet in Como. The hotel is one of those elegant old-school hotels you could imagine from reading about the grand old days of ('old' in the sense of traditional, elegant and sophisticated - but not 'old' in a 'tired' way). Imagine the exact opposite of a modern steel & glass skyscraper hotel and this is what you will find here. Staff were very attentive and friendly (while still being unobtrusive and professional). Food was excellent. Maybe the breakfast was a little but expensive but that's the way it is with hotels - just book it with your reservation and you'll save. Dinner in the restaurant overlooking the fountain (twice) was fantastic. Many of the dishes were not as expensive as local tourist ripoffs elsewhere in the City. The Cotoletta Milanese was as good as I have ever tasted anywhere in northern Italy (imagine a soft, succulent Veal steak covered in breadcrumbs) and big enough to share 1/3 of it and still be full afterwards. The Lunch menu was better and less expensive than places with much less quality on the menu. Overall, I would happily recommend the Palace Hotel to anyone. Treat yourself and book a room with a Lake View. You won't regret the extra few Euro.

We had a great stay! Easy walking access to the brunate funicular and close to several restaurants. The hotel made amazing restaurant recommendations and were very accommodating to us and our friends! 10/10 recommend! Very clean also!

Fantastic hotel, amazing junior suite room, great location!

This is a beautiful hotel. It's located in a prime area- across from the ferry & just minutes to the city square. You can see the Duomo from your bedroom window. We arrived by train from Milan- so it was a 15 minute ride from the train station. Every day we would just walk from our hotel to the city square to the shops & restaurants. On Saturdays they have the farmers market all around the square & it's fun to shop here. The hotel is grand. Their breakfst buffet is plentifully- choices of breads, pastries, scrambled eggs & bacon, cold cuts & cheese, fresh fruit & assortment of homemade pastries. The staff is courteous & the hotel is spotless. They also have a water dispenser in the lobby for filtered water. I definitely will choose to stay here again if I go to Milan.

The hotel was very clean and the receptionists are very kind and will be able to assist you in English and Italian, I loved my stay here.
