Family-friendly Hotels in Dali

The room looked great and was very comfortable. The location is near the ancient city. There are any places to eat nearby. The staff was very helpful. The tea they provide is also high quality. The only issue I have is with the TV. The box has a large selection of movies and TV series a la Netflix,however if you want to watch regular live TV , the box says that you have to pay. Note that the hotel is located in an alley off Yeyu Road and at first was hard to find.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. At first there were some isuues with the wifi, TV and safety deposit box, but as I mentioned them to the hotel, they immediately took care of them. As the hotel is in Dali Ancient Town and cars are not allowed inside, they offer a service to help you with you luggage to/from the city gate. We only had breakfast at the hotel, which consists mainly of Chinese dishes, cereals, pastries, butter, jam and coffee/tea. The pool is not heated, so during winter is not very convenient to have a bath.

The family room I stayed in with my parents and children was spacious and clean, and the decoration was very warm. The store owner also provided good service and prepared children's slippers and toothbrushes for the children. Before check-in, the housekeeper contacted us to send us the location. The location of the homestay is also very good in the center of Dali Ancient Town. It is very convenient to go anywhere. There are also many kinds of breakfast prepared in the morning. We enjoyed our stay here. It was in the quiet part of the old town and close to the road where you could get a taxi out. Very convenient. Service was also great and the staff helped us out with some challenges we had with the Chinese online booking systems eg for train tickets. The soundproofing didn’t bother us so much as it was low season so not a lot of noise. The only tiny thing was that there were ants in the room so you couldn’t leave food lying around and had to be careful where you left your belongings.

Great service from the bnb crew! During wet weather, the view of the lake from the room keeps us entertained. Overall, a place we will stay again when we are back in Dali.

We had a great stay at Fanju. The location of the hotel was great, near to the bustling Dali Gucheng, but quaintly located on the mountain side and it was very peaceful! The owners and staff at Fanju were great hosts, assisting us with our luggages up the room. The areas in the hotel were very tastefully designed, and the rooftop had a gigantic mirror for photoshoot. The room was clean and spacious for our family, and the amenities provided were great as well. It was helpful that the hotel offered complimentary shuttle service to Dali Gucheng as they were located on the hill. Overall a great stay and will definitely recommend to stay here in Dali!

The service is very good, with all people very efficient and kind. good problem solving skills from the reception. The room is quite clean, but could be improved,especially the rug cleaning. We got a room which was very smelly of cigarette, and has been changed and upgraded to a better one. The breakfast is terrible, don't buy it. Western options are just a shame, and there is no coffee. I just ordered starbucks, and got a little reimbursement for the breakfast included on my booking.

Although the location of the hotel is not particularly convenient for going out, it is close to Erhai Lake. The room overlooks the beautiful sea view. It rained before I had time to take pictures on the terrace of Sky Realm, but the rain stopped after a while. The hotel service staff were very warm and thoughtful. They sent afternoon tea and dinner desserts. I felt that I could sit on the balcony and stare at the sea view all day. Overall, I was very satisfied, but the air conditioner in the room was too noisy. It was difficult to sleep when it was turned on at night. This hotel is located in the administrative district, with convenient transportation. There is a bus stop nearby, and it is also very convenient to take a taxi.
