Alua Village Fuerteventura - All Inclusive
4.1/571 Reviews
Just returned from a fabulous week at Alua Village. Yes, the bedroom and bathroom were a little dated (certainly not 4 star), but the rooms, main building and the outside areas were spotlessly clean. At the end of the day, the bedroom was just for sleeping. We had a fantastic balcony with a great sea view. Yes, the pool could do with some maintenance, but the water was clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. The employees made our holiday special, and customer service was definitely 5 star. The food was amazing. People who say it was repetitive clearly only went for the pizza, chips or pasta. During our stay we had fresh salad every day and dishes that included chicken, beef, pork, rabbit, liver, mussels, clams, prawns, squid, salmon, hake, and an array of locally caught fish etc. There were themes on some evenings. The Italian risotto was delicious. The all inclusive alcohol was great. The daytime entertainment was varied, although the evening entertainment (all in french) wasn't anything special. However, it was great just to sit outside and enjoy an evening G&T. The beach was great, but, as others have said, it's a steep walk up and down and impossible for those with mobility issues. However, once on the beach, there was a great little beach bar, and the sea was very safe for swimming. Would I recommend Alua Village? Absolutely and would go there again. We had a relaxing time and were thoroughly looked after.
Fuerteventura Princess

Recently stayed at the Fuerteventura Princess for my honeymoon. I emailed the hotel several months in advance (in Spanish) and asked for a quiet room. We couldn't believe how lovely the room was - the bed was huge and there was loads of storage space in the bathroom which was amazing and also generally loads of storage in the room which was great. Everything looked brand new in the room! Also, having the usb slots next to the bed was a great touch and means everyone can charge their phones if they have forgot adaptors. The location of our room was perfect as it was a 30 seconds walk to the pool but away from the entertainment area, so very peaceful in the evening. So thank you very much for enabling our request! We kept our room really tidy and housekeeping in turn came in and always made our bed up nicely and kept the floor really clean. We booked this hotel as we had previously stayed at the Taurito Princess and would have gone back there had they not been closed for refurbishment. The gardens and hotel areas were beautifully kept and everywhere was clean! The pool was fantastic and the beach was gorgeous and only a 30 second walk from the Seroco restaurant. All the staff were very pleasant. The young girls on the reception were very informative about the local area. All the restaurant staff worked hard and were friendly. Id like to give a special mention to Jose Clemente - Jose went out of his way to help me andy husband find our room when we arrived and it was late and dark, he even carried the suitcase up the stairs to our room! Also, when the TV stopped working in our room and we phoned reception Jose swiftly arrived and fixed the TV. He's a real asset to the hotel. Our only disappointment was unfortunately the food was not as good as we expected and felt it was more geared to the Germans than the Brits. (for example the Taurito Princess had English bacon and sausage this this hotel didn't and a lot of the meats were not typically British for example the veal burgers ect). It would have gone a long way had this hotel done the same. I specifically chose this hotel because it was another Princess hotel and the food at the Taurito Princess was absolutely exceptional so we just expected that same consistency. We did eat out on a few evenings and LA Isla in Jandia (opposite the lighthouse, before Marrow Jable) was fantastic. We also ate at the Chinese in Jandia and the Italian in Marrow Jable, all very nice. I would like to say that the atmosphere at the hotel was very nice and peaceful. And the activities team have constantly got activities running such as volleyball, water polo, baules, table tennis ect which is nice. Splash bingo was a little loud and and there was not escaping if you just wanted to chill and read by the pool! I've read some comments about the entertaient staff not speaking to English people and I can say this wasn't the case at all. They went round and spoke to us (in English) to asl if we wanted to join in wh
