Amazing experience. The resort itself was like a pandora box filled with surprises. I instantly felt the positive and good vibe once I stepped onto the land. Both the exterior and interior design showed respect to the breathtaking nature of the original island. LOVE the natural materials used in the designs, the wood, the leather, the marble, etc. But what makes it more special is the staff. EVERYONE is passionate about their jobs and the island, and they all genuinely care for the guests! Six star service! LOVE the style and amenities too!

The view from the room is nice, but the beach quality is too poor, there are many small shellfish, which can easily scratch your feet. The staff at the children's park are very warm and friendly, and it is the first choice for parents and children and the elderly. It is not recommended for honeymoons, there are too many children, and it is noisy when dining and playing.

A memorable vacation

The service of this hotel is really poor, it is not recommended to choose It is strongly recommended that you be cautious when choosing this hotel, the service staff is completely unprofessional. 1. We were injured in the swimming pool in front of the room, because the stones at the entrance of the villa were too sharp, and the unsafe facilities caused the soles of our feet to be cut. We called an emergency call on the spot. No one came, so I had to clean it myself, put on a band-aid, and waited for half an hour before someone came, and then I didn't know what to ask. 2. The breakfast table was full of flies, and the food was surrounded by flies on the table.

After 11 years, I visited the Maldives again. It is really a paradise, and Patina's service is definitely the icing on the cake for this trip. Patina is a full-time butler-style service. After arriving, you don't have to wait for check-in in the lobby, you can go directly to the room, and then the butler has already arranged everything. Our essentialist is Naaish, a very good butler brother. Every day's dinner reservations and daily activity arrangements are all through the essentialist. They will work hard to solve any problems encountered. On the night of our arrival, we felt that the fence around the outdoor shower area was slightly gapped, and the privacy was not enough. After telling Naaish, workers were arranged to reinforce it early the next morning. If you want to participate in various activities in the hotel, Naaish will give you very pertinent suggestions. In the end, we went to the Dolphin Cruise and saw the dolphins and the sunset, a magnificent moment worth remembering for a lifetime. The other services of the hotel are also perfect. The steak I ate one night required a medium degree of doneness. It was a bit difficult to cut after it was served. I thought the steak knife was not very good, but the waiter didn't think so at all, so I got it from the back kitchen and remade it for me. I ordered a portion, and then the chef came out and explained that because the medium should not be difficult to cut, it must be their problem or the problem of the meat. This operation really made me a little dumbfounded. I ate at the Helio restaurant on the last night. It is very common to have a sudden change in the weather in the rainy season. After the appetizer and the main course, it suddenly rained heavily. The waiter helped us move into the indoor dining area. We hurriedly ate dessert and went back The room, in fact, everything is normal, but within half an hour the waiter brought a new dessert, because we felt that we hadn't eaten it well before. Every day at Patina is really beautiful, and I am very, very grateful to every employee for their service.

The first stop after the opening of the country, I chose Bodian this time, and overall I am very satisfied. If you want to find a disadvantage, the snorkeling environment is not good enough. In order to make it easier for my son to play in the sand and water, I stayed in the Sunset Sand House this time. I am very satisfied overall. It may be the reason for the new hotel. There are not many fish species to be seen while snorkeling. It should be much better in two years. There are many choices of restaurants in the hotel, and there is also a Chinese restaurant that satisfies our Chinese taste buds😋 The restaurants we went to tasted very good. Bao who doesn't care about snorkeling can go directly. The hotel has a paid snorkeling project, which we did not participate in this time. The island is relatively large, and there are many things to do. We stayed for 8 days this time, and we didn’t feel bored at all. We felt that we didn’t have enough time, so we didn’t want to leave🙃

Ctrip is always black! It's really outrageous, it's a complete scam! They actually took out a studio room type and packed it. This room type did not appear on the website at all, and there was no way to know that it was a small building similar to the staff dormitory! Traveling all the way to the Maldives to live in a room like this is almost fainting. I've seen the best, but I've never seen anything like this!

It is recommended to book a sand house in the rainy season. Because the waves and wind are really big. The beauty is really beautiful! 🍬

Perfect honeymoon resort

I’ve been lucky enough to go regularly to the Maldives for over 20 years. Each year a few new islands/resorts open up, often trying to learn everything from the improvements the last set made & so there’s a kind of ‘Good Arms Race’ there, where every year the ‘luxury ante’ has been raised yet again. Patina is only a couple of years ‘old’ and still has the feel of everything being new and contemporary. Everything works, and they’ve all mod cons and every gadget known to mankind, including every imaginable motorised water sport amenity. The suites are beautifully designed and finished. The aesthetic is sort of scandi & undeniably ‘boxie’ on the outside, but soft and luxurious on the inside, from which you have the spectacular ocean views – unimpeded in the case of the ocean villas, in one of which we stayed. I loved the careful & sensitive landscaping of the whole island – no harsh straight lines here – and all the ‘views’ throughout the island have been carefully composed to take your breath away. Plus, the gardening team are very good at their jobs: THIS paradise is manicured. (On the ‘built environment’ literally the only thing I’d change is the ‘rough’ surface of the villa pool’s concrete base/bench which I didn’t find terribly comfortable, but that might just be me & I anyway found a sort of ‘cushion work-around.’) The island is a lot larger than many, though never felt unpleasantly busy, even at 95% occupancy. This gives them the ‘critical mass’ and simply the space, to do a lot that many other islands cannot: The spa is very extensive and even during their busiest week of the year (Xmas＞NY) we did not struggle to get treatments at/very near preferred times, and every treatment was truly excellent. But possibly the most unusual thing about the island is its network of differently themed Restaurants and casual dining options. I think I counted 13! And the range and quality of the food I simply have never seen bettered anywhere in the Maldives, quite extraordinary. I don’t often photograph my food, but even I did occasionally on Patina, so exquisite was the presentation; if only photos could convey the mouth-watering flavours! The ‘banquets’ put on for New Year’s and a few other nights were extraordinary, and the entertainers & singers were very high quality. There is an Middle Eastern-themed restaurant ('Arabesque') operated by neighbouring island Ritz Carlton whose dishes were SO outstanding that we changed our plans so that we could go twice! (And should say I make all these culinary comments having a slightly unusual diet, but they handled it almost perfectly; keto bread rolls were the only thing missing for me, but that is very niche & I have a feeling that if I’d asked in advance they would have made that happen too!) Indeed ‘making it happen’ for you, WHATEVER your ‘it’ is, seems to be their guiding principle. Amazing service and Toto our essentialist made the whole trip. Food and events are outstanding. Only issue is that the over the water rooms are over rough water and not the Maldives experience so be careful about which rooms you select. Really an a plus

Beautiful hotel with an amazing setting! Staff and food was excellent especially our essentialist Muba. Will definitely come back next year ! Would highly recommend this hotel. Another benefit is that it’s close from male airport. Great Place

A masterpiece in design and hospitality. As an architect, I was amazed by the stunning design and incredible surroundings. The attentive staff ensured a seamless experience, balancing professionalism with warmth. This experience was really 10/10.

The place was amazing, the view was breathtaking, a ressort that can please everyone with its beauty, the variety of activities and cuisines and of course its staff. I also wanted to highlight the role of Cathy and Millie that were awesome at their job and took the whole trip to the next level.
