Hotel is clean and easy to find. 7 mins away from Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern. Very accomodating staff and helpful.

You couldn’t ask for a better location and the stuff is very accommodating, so don’t hesitate to report any issues that you might be facing there. We’ve found breakfast service quite nice too. The tram did not bother us. Room’s a little cold in October.

Very good location, with comfy bed and amazing spread for breakfast. The only downside is that it can be a little noisy due to its proximity to the trains passing by. But not too much an issue if you turn on the TV or music.

Great location, close to everywhere. Plenty of restaurants, mini marts, FX, trams etc. close by. I had room on street, but was quiet, as windows kept out most of noise

The location is in the old city and close to most attractions. I stayed in Istanbul for two days and almost didn't use transportation. I only had to walk to the attractions. The hotel staff was friendly and willing to help guests. The breakfast provided by the hotel was also very rich.

If you are looking for a place to visit the old town, this is the place to stay. It is in the best location and offers a decent breakfast. It is cleaned daily and check-in is available 24 hours a day. I would like to visit again.

Rusty water Rust water came out of the sink and shower head at first I took the filter shower head and it quickly turned black... It wasn't even brown..just black..it was so shocking Everything was good, but the water was really...ah...

The location is very good, I don't know why the main entrance is not open. The service staff is very friendly, the breakfast is also good, but the room rate is a bit small, but the price is relatively affordable in this location.

This hotel has everything perfect, just everything, location, it is located in the very center of all attractions, surrounded by all kinds of shops and cafes, there is a small minus, the windows in our room faced the street from the side of the tram, but the hotel has good noise insulation, you can’t hear about the closed window , during the 7 days of my stay I was never disturbed by a muezzin, the room was small, but we lived together, and mostly we left after lunch and came back around 12 at night, breakfast was standard from 8 to 10-10:20, there were different breakfasts , always several types of cheese, sausages, salad mix, fresh cucumber, cherry tomatoes, several types of bread, boiled eggs, several types of omelettes, yogurt, in general there was enough food there, you won’t leave hungry, very good people work at the reception, they always helped with in any question, when we were checking out, we agreed to look after our things, called a taxi to the airport, also gave us water, very hospitable people, the holiday made the most pleasant impression thanks to this place 🙏❤️next time I will choose this hotel again ❤️🙏

The room was spacious and the facilities were impeccable. The hotel information said that amenities only included shampoo and soap, but there was also conditioner, body soap, and body cream. The breakfast menu was basically the same during my three-day stay, with only slight changes in the side dishes for the stir-fried dishes. The food was delicious. The location was excellent as it was close to the main tourist attractions, but there is a tram that runs in front of the hotel, so those who are sensitive to vibrations may find it annoying. Personally, it was the best hotel!

Top location! All historical sights nearby.. Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Every day a neat room and fresh towels. In the morning you get enough choice for breakfast.. Only downside was that they forgot our requested prayer rug. Will definitely come back 👍😊

We went to Ilkay Hotel for New Year 2025. We liked the location - everything is nearby - metro, ferries and attractions. The service at the hotel is calm. The room was cleaned every day. Not a bad restaurant in the hotel - open until 22, the average price for 2 dishes is 600 lira. The room is small, tired. Towels - 5 pieces, gels, shampoos, slippers are available. I didn't like the pillow - big and springy - my neck hurt after sleeping.
