The Hotel V (Nanjing Confucius Temple) Reviews

My wife had booked a hotel nearby this one, but the rooms were only 16m2 to 20m2. This is way too small, and they were expensive. Then I found the Hotel V and the rooms were cheaper, but much larger. My room was 45m2, and it came with a den area in a Japanese style setting. We have 2 kids, so they went directly into that area and never left. Both kids did their homework there and played there. This left the main room for the adults. The staff were exceptionally friendly and incredibly helpful, and most of all polite. There is spacious underground parking that was clean and not old, dusty, and smelly. The location is great, in a food plaza, directly across from Starbucks and near two subway lines. I used the subway to travel to and from Nanjing South Railway Station. No taxis needed. The cost of the hotel room was very reasonable, rather awesome for the type of room I had. This is a 5-star, even if it is not a 5-star!

The service is superb! Front desk 小刘 and 2 other males delivered awesome services. They are well versed with the location and helped us with local Bookings and reservations with some restaurants. The room is very spacious and very convenient. The walk to the room is a bit too far. If it is nearer, it would be better especially for premium suites. But the comfortable beds after a tiring day of sight seeing ease everything. They provided all amenities throughout our stay and even gifted 苹果 for 平安夜，so thoughtful. ❤️ will stay here again the next time we are here.

Stayed 5 nights. Location wise, it's great. Right at the junction into Confucius Temple Walking Street. Plenty of food places. Metro is a short walk away. If you have luggages, better to walk from Confucius Temple Station rather than Wudingmen Station. Better walking conditions, less motorcycles

Old hotel but rooms were clean. We had a large 2 bedroom unit. The bedroom facing the street was noisy from the traffic.

good surrounding. There are hot tea provided at the lobby where it helps a lot during the winter. Good service provided by the hotel.

Hmmm smells bad (smoke) and not clean enough. 1st room was smells bad and card was not working and then counter changed room for me. However still smells not good haha Whatever! Understandable with law price. Location was nice and staff was friendly and helpful as well!
