ZZHANGClose to airport with frequent shuttle bus btw hotel and each terminal. What I paid was cheap but breakfast included. It was really amazing for catching the morning flights or late night arrivals.
GgreecegreecegreeceI wanted to be excited, so I chose a hotel with a good view of the plane. If you use the smartphone app (flightradar24.com), you can see ”where the plane came from” and ”where you are going” and feel the romance. Personally, my favorite is to sway in a Woodteres hammock. Breakfast had a full-fledged toaster, so it was delicious with sausages in between. There was a takeaway cup for coffee so I could relax in my room.
FFat mamaLocation is near to airport. Room and toilet are pretty small. Bed is too soft for me and not so comfortable. Nearby got restaurants but about 10 mins walk from hotel.
Nearby about 5 mins walk have a supermarket..
Breakfast variety not a lot and very simple.
GGuest UserWhile the check-in was smooth and the english-speaking staff at concierge was detailed in the available facilities e.g. sauna chargeable at 550 yen per pax, I was shocked by how unclean the room I stayed in was, at the highest level 11: dust was perpetually flying visibly in the air and worse if you smack the stained bed a bit; could see the dust and dirt stuck on TV remote control; there were stains on the bed; there were hair strands in the bathroom (e.g. bathtub); and there was a foul stench when I opened the bathroom (the kind that wet clothes did not dry properly hence proving the lack of ventilation in the bathroom). Thankfully I stayed for one night only though I did not use the facilities.
The hotel seemed popular with other airline staff and tourists (Chinese, Thai, Korean) who could be rowdy at the lobby area and convenience store located at level 1 of the hotel. I did not feel exactly safe.
All in all, I would strongly discourage booking this hotel.
GGuest UserStaff were very helpful with absolutely any and every question I had (and I had many). The buffet dinner was great and I got a packed breakfast the next morning since I left too early for the breakfast buffet (my own booking mistake)
The location and shuttle bus from and to Narita airport are fantastic if you want a hassle free in and out with a comfortable stay after a long travel.
GGuest UserSleeping pods (capsules) are at two levels - crawl in at floor level or climb up to second level (small ladder). Capsule has mattress, doona/duvet/quilt, wi-fi, and adjustable light. You can sit up comfortably inside capsule. Retractable curtain covers the entrance to capsule. So you have to be very quiet so neighbours aren’t disturbed, and snoring can be an issue (yours or others). Hotel divided into two sections - men only and women only. Reception hands you a bag containing towels and robe. Door from reception opens to locker room. Lockers are good size - can fit the largest suitcase, and more. Leave your shoes in locker and use slippers. Then head to shower/toilet area or capsule-bed area. No eating or drinking in capsule-bed area. No lounge area. Hotel connected to Terminal Two by two walkways (underground near train station entrance, or overpass at level two). Terminal Two has 24hr convenience store and a Yoshinoya, and usual shops and restaurants open during business hours. Connecting passageway to Terminal 3 from Terminal 2, or Shuttle bus to Terminal 1 every ten minutes (takes 7 minutes).
GGuest UserReviews said it was a shady store, and at first I was worried about the excessive charges. There was absolutely no problem when I went there. There were only a few people checking in when I made the reservation, and there were no arbitrary charges! We also prepared several cushions and quilts. But the better hotel near the airport is probably this one. It’s also very close to Naritaji Temple, so you can stay here during your transfer and go shopping in the morning.
The hotel is great! When we got off the taxi, a staff member held an umbrella to pick us up. The room was also big and clean! Another bonus is that you can take a bath! Less crowded and clean! The temperature is great! My baby and I had a great time!
MMatt78I believe it is the closest hotel to the airport and.I was.able to find it walking from terminal 3 (probably 1.5km walking, much closer to.termimal 1 and 2). Their shuttle bus stops around 11pm as most hotels, so if you arrive late that at least you can still reach it on your own. I really resented that they refused to offer me an additional pillow. Sleeping with one small pillow only was not great, but you stay there just for convenience and they know it.
GGuest User- Musty smelling toilet - Very old fittings and room doors that don't close fully - Friendly staff but poor English overall and unobservant - Old-fashioned owner with very poor customer skills, cannot problem-solve - Bath and water mixer very hard to use as they are very old fashioned - Fridge full of cold drinks, but with no space to put anything except tiny bottles and some small items I was very surprised and unhappy with what the ryokan owner told us today - the last night of our 10-night trip across the wider Tokyo region. Some context first: my flight departs at 6.20pm tomorrow and we have to check out of our room at 10am, as planned. What was unplanned, was that I was only told at 7pm today that they would have maintenance coming so there are 'no staff' and 'the whole ryokan will be closed', so my elderly parents (78YO and 70YO) and I would have to take our 3 large luggage bags with us by 2pm. They will not be able to hold our luggage for even 2 hours until 4pm, nor will they be able to call us a taxi; we will have to walk to the taxi stand ourselves. What is funny, is that as I was negotiating with the owner in the lobby, 4 new guests arrived to check-in. Now, there is a whole hotel with numerous rooms and new guests, but he cannot (will not) hold our luggage for 2 hours more? He proceeded to tell us they 'are not responsible to us for anything once we check out' and that 'there is nothing he can do' and when I said hotels in other countries hold the luggage for their guests after they check out for the same day until the flight time, he said 'this is Japan, not other countries'. Wow. I get it that he's used to running things his way, but this makes for a horrible customer experience. We had booked this ryokan over 6 weeks ago online, so there were many opportunities to tell us in advance of this scheduled maintenance. One great opportunity was yesterday at 5.30pm, when we checked in. Side points are: - Staff are not trained on the safety equipment in the rooms. I had taken the emergency torchlight off the charging mount and instead of the staff reinserting it, I had to figure out how and tell the staff (to his credit he really tried) - Housekeeping were unaware they took my mother's personal spoon by mistake and phew! the translation issues... we got it back though - Housekeeping replaced the tolietries we clearly had no need of, but not the items we used up! Basically they gave us 3 more toothbrushes in addition to the 3 unused, but did not top up the cotton pads. It was all very clearly placed in the bathroom for them to observe. - Creepy horror movie vibes
GGuest UserSince my flight time was early in the morning, I chose to sleep near the airport, but the location, facilities, and other Japanese-style accommodations were not bad. I arrived around 7pm, but I was embarrassed because I didn't know it was self check-in. No one except for the guests. When I came out later, I posted a notice, but I couldn't see it because it was an unfamiliar environment and situation. I met and was helped by a friendly French family. It was a little difficult because the conversation wasn't good, but please refer to those who make reservations
