Just a WARNING to fellow travelers. Alona de Tropicana in Talawa, Panglao, Bohol will nickle-and-dime you EVERY chance they get, and generally treat you like garbage. My wife was yelled at by the owner for sitting on a plastic lawn chair, near the algae, frog and mosquito-infested 'pool', while our baby played in the grass. They shouted, 'This is not your property!' I was yelled at for sitting on a plastic chair in the dining area to use the internet while the internet in our room was down. After they fixed our internet, they CHARGED us for fixing their modem cables! We quickly learned NEVER to go anywhere outside of our residence for fear of being charged for something. When we told them we were moving out, they said they would charge 500pesos cleaning. On the day of moving, they wanted 1,000 pesos, plus charged 500p per day until this was PAID. Absolute money crabs.
