A trip with my family of 6 people, including my mom, my son, my husband, my younger brother, and his wife! Conclusion: Satisfactory and memorable
The 1st and 2nd floors are separated and there is a separate kitchen so there is a microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine (filled with capsules every day), dishes, pots, forks, etc.
So I went shopping and made ramen and rice
The disappointing thing is that the table where we all sit together
was outside so it was hot so we didn't sit down and just ate in front of the TV in the room like we were eating all the time ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
The best thing was that there was a free tuk-tuk service to Jollibee, McDonald's, and Aloha Beach, so I could freely use the tuk-tuk
back and forth
The bedding and towels were clean, the air conditioning was great, and
I was satisfied with both the private pool and the public pool, and especially since there were no Korean tourists, my child greeted and played with various people such as French and American people
It was nice that I could call a masseuse to the room
Here's a tip: the masseuse named "Nobi"
is really super skilled!!!!! You should definitely try it ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 20,000 won for 1 hour!!!!

This hotel is really in a very private place. There is no free shuttle service. You need to take a ride to the hotel by yourself. However, there is a free shuttle bus to Alona Beach or any place near the seaside. You only need to pay a small amount of money. Breakfast is not self-service. It is recommended to order gourmet breakfast and call a taxi. It is recommended to inform the staff 10-15 minutes in advance. You usually need to wait for the swimming pool because of the wind. There will be some fallen leaves inside because the temperature is low. There are no slippers. If you need other supplies, please tell them directly what you think. Not very good
There are also chickens crowing outside all the time. It’s very noisy. The overall score is 3 out of 10.

The environment is average, very remote, and you have to go around a lot to get there. The road there is also bumpy. The room is very small, and there are no slippers. The hotel wrote that it would take you to Alona Beach for free, but they always said that the car was being repaired and they couldn't do anything. They wrote that they would take you to the airport for free, but they actually charged me money. I was speechless, it's not worth the price.

I would give all 5 stars if not for one small and very annoying circumstance:
We asked to take our things to dry cleaning, but the hotel didn’t have one and the administrator took the things to another place - the things came back spoiled, with stains that now cannot be washed off. I’m even glad that some of the shorts from the general set of clothes were not washed; at least they were not additionally soiled. And the cost of dry cleaning turned out to be much more expensive than originally stated.
Overall, the hotel is wonderful, the owner answered our questions with pleasure and was always open to conversation. The staff is top notch.
The hotel is small with cool rooms. I would especially like to note the design of the rooms - done with taste! It's nice to be in them. No living creatures or insects were found in the rooms. A few scout ants don't count)))
From the hotel to the main shopping and restaurant street it takes 10 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by transport for 100 pesos. The beach is still a 5-minute walk away.
A big unexpected plus is the presence of various board games and a place where you can spend time with a group by the pool. By the way, the pool is clean and comfortable.
I recommend it to everyone who comes to visit the sights of Panglao and Bohol. This is not for those who want to lounge on the beach. Except by the pool.
Breakfast - a choice of several options (Filipino, American, pancakes, porridge, etc.) - all tasty and satisfying.
Thanks again for the warm welcome! The hotel is definitely worth the money!

I would be happy to repeat if I need to stay somewhere on the island. The room as a whole is designed for a comfortable stay. There is a lot of light, which is very pleasing. There is somewhere to put things. Comfortable terrace and pool area.
I recommend that the administration pay attention to the breakfast: I didn’t like it, it wasn’t tasty. Also, in general, the rooms look a little tired; it would be nice to update the paint and do a good job on the plumbing in the bathroom.

There are few rooms, so it is very quiet
The location is relatively remote, but the hotel has its own tutu and it is very convenient to go to the street. The porridge for breakfast is amazing!
Highly recommend everyone to live here!

The environment of the resort (homestay) is still good, but it is a little far from the beach. You need to take their transportation car to the beach. After five o'clock, you need to ask the counter to help you call a car.
Many device issues:
There is no tissue, no slippers, no quilt in the room.
There was no hot water for bathing at night.
The fourth one just broke down.
There are some problems with the network.
It rained heavily at night, and the rain outside covered the place, but it couldn't completely cover the rain.
The feeling is only beautiful, and the rest are ordinary.

Overall, it's okay, but a bottle of Chanel facial cleanser and shampoo left in the room was just bought. I called to ask if it was lost to me, and I didn’t call to ask if we want it. The service is poor.

Originally booked for 2 nights, room 204
As a result, the water pressure is too low to take a bath.
After we responded, we were told that it would be repaired.
but no improvement
Later decided to change to live
The service staff over there said that there was a problem with the water pressure in that room, but the manager has been directing customers and it has not improved.
I booked about NT$3,000 for one night
It turned out that they only refunded me 6,000 pesos
talk to them directly
Give me back the price for one night

Overall an OK experience at Bird of Paradise Hotel. There’s many many positives, which I’ll happily highlight below, however, also quite a few areas of improvement that I hadn’t anticipated encountering with how the resort is priced and advertised. Pros: Staff generally were brilliant, friendly, happy and would go out their way to assist you when asked about anything. Particular positive mentions for the reception/ front desk individuals, who helped us organise trips/ tuk tuks and handled questions admirably. Although I would highlight they seemed to be lacking in numbers or training at times - this is not way a blame attached to them though. The free Tuk Tuk service into Alona beach was great and a nice addition considering the dark nature of the lanes to the hotel. Location was fairly good for us, close enough to get into Alona beach easily but far enough out that it was not in anyway rowdy. The bed in the room was a great size and extremely comfortable! Cons: Our room was dark (ground floor) and damp with lots of visible mould in the bathroom - which despite leaving the extractor fan on continually, would always be soaking in condensation and damp all day. This made it a favourite spot for the mosquitos annoyingly. Overall cleanliness, linked to the above item, was average at best across the hotel in my opinion - I’d have expected much better for the offering they present. Examples include the floor area around the pool and at breakfast being continually dirty and looking as if they hadn’t seen a mop in days, old pool towels being left on sun beds for days at a time and the same for plates at beer bottles/ glasses, which I had to request be moved after sitting gathering insects for over 24 hours. Food was pretty poor across the board, breakfast being selected the night prior makes total sense in the stock management sense but the choices were repetitive and food often appeared reheated or badly prepared. Snacks/ lunch also left a lot to be desired, they were cheap takeaway style or often items were not in stock. Lack of sun beds/ space around the pool area. I got the feeling this hotel, prior to the addition of villas, would have great vibes and space etc, but the villas and families which come with these have made the pool and surroundings far too small and often crowded and noisy. The hotel ran out of water twice in our trip of 5 days, requiring some form of pump fix/ reset which delayed evening showers and or stopped functioning of the toilet. This was only for 30 mins at a time but I wouldn’t expect it for the price paid. If I could, I’d rate this 3.5 stars due to the staff, however it certainly doesn’t meet 4 or 5 IMO, hence the 3 selected. I don’t want to appear fully negative, we did enjoy our stay here and the positives are good ones, however, if we were to return to Alona Beach, we would not stay at Bird of Paradise because of the cons mentioned above. A thank you to the staff from us, who tried continually an

It's such a charming spot, though it's a small road going in. The facilities are well kept, the pool villa is spacious and beautifully designed. The food is fresh and delicious, with a simple presentation that makes every meal a treat. Happy hour is a real highlight, great drinks in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. I'll be back here on our next visit!

There were pros and cons to this hotel. We enjoyed our stay but think theres definitely improvements needed! Pros: Friendly helpful staff - they will be happy to give suggestions, and do anything needed to make your stay more enjoyable. Good location. Free shuttle service. When no kids around, its very relaxing by the pool. Cons: Inflexibility - theres little choice for breakfast and you cant swap things or you'll be charged. Cleanliness - its cleanish but the floors can be quite dirty. In addition, theres been plates, old towels and cups at the pool overnight and still hadnt been moved by lunchtime therefore cant use the sunbeds. Bathroom has some mould in it. Food is average, and items are often out of stock. There are not enough sunbeds for the amount of people, and the pool can feel very busy.
Response from Property: Thank you for your feedback, JayeL95! We’re delighted you enjoyed the friendly staff, convenient location, and relaxing moments by the pool. We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced, including cleanliness, breakfast options, and pool amenities. Your comments are valuable, and we’re actively working to improve the dining experience, housekeeping standards, and availability of sunbeds. We hope to welcome you back soon with a better experience!
