Very basic hotel about 20 minutes walking from downtown Reykjavik. The room was small and I couldn’t open the bathroom door and my luggage at the same time.
I’ve been traveling for 5 weeks around Europe and this is the first hotel that has made me wait until the exact checkin time.
Overall, customer service could be better and it seems very more like a glorified hostel. The room had basically no amenities - not even a hairdryer.
Sound proofing in the rooms is pretty good and there are nice views of the water.
If Reykjavik wasn’t so expensive I’d probably stay somewhere else.
Breakfast was very good.

Hotel is fair for the price, window was with a defect in the sealing rubber that made a lot of noise due to the strong wind. When asked for soda bar they front desk didn’t have it.

The hotel is okay. It’s a big hotel just next to the bay. There was a lot of school groups staying here so it was pretty crowded and noisy in the mornings and evenings. Breakfast was fine, not a huge amount of options just bread, small selection of fruit and a couple of cereals. The room was very small and the bed was too small (I’m 180cm). I got a room with a window but the window was just to the hallway and even with the blind down light was coming in all the time which made it difficult to sleep.
