I have been here tired time. It’s good ………….location. It’s easy accessing to many places with a minimum distance. Good cafe and restaurant and very good for dining.

Amenities expected from a service apartment. Service is good. However, cleanliness can improve and needed maintenance like toilet bowl choked 2 times during 4 nights stay.

Great location with big rooms

The location is good. But the facilities are pretty old. And the room fare is pretty steep in comparison.

Room furniture etc was rather old and areas with wall paper showing signs of water peeling off. Counter service and luggage handlers were excellent. However, the staff at the morning buffet was terrible except for a lady. The rest of the crew were rather rude and do not greet diners. Food variety was lacking and miserable. Location of the place was excellent though.

Water from aircon pipe was suspected to be choked and overflow. Water leaked from the false ceiling to the floor and fortunately did not wet our luggage near by. The mgmt offered to swap rooms and 2 plates of fruits, while we have to spend an hour to pack and relocate.:(

The services at this hotel is really awesome esp when we enter we met with Alan, he was so patient and helpful. The housekeeping auntie mei yi was also very cute we can use notes to communicate, she will alwayz do her very best to fulfill your needs. The rooms maybe abit lacking as it is winter season there is no aircon, so it gets abit stuffy but Alan and colleagues arrange air cooler for our rooms. Breakfast was repeated daily so not much of a choice. But location was good so overall it is still quite a nice place to be at given the awesome service fr Alan, Mei Yi and team.

Ascott at HuaiHai (Middle) Road has an excellent location, there are bus stops and metro stations (no.1, 2, 14 lines), shopping malls and a variety of cafes and restaurants that suit different pockets nearby. Xintaidi is also a stone's throw away. Behind the hotel is a lovely and good sized public park for walks and runs. I deeply appreciated the fact my room came with a fully equipped kitchenette with washer! While the furnishings may be a little dated, the cleanliness and excellent services provided by the staff more than made up for anything that could be amissed. A big shout out to my (11th) floor housekeeper, Mdm Ling Xin Mei (凌心梅阿姨). She noticed that I consumed all my mineral water on day 1 and left me more bottles on the second day of my stay. Throughout my 7 days stay, she made sure I always have sufficient mineral water, shower supplies and ear plugs...she always leave me a note wishing me a good day and stay. She made me feel well taken care of and I felt at home while staying at Ascott, room number 1105 from Nov 7 to 13, 2024. I want to return to stay the next time I visit Shanghai.

Concierge is very friendly and helpful. Location is great. It might be dated but i dont mind it has all that i need and it gives my family a BIG space. Hotel is connected to a mall and there is a Lawson convenience store and XinWang resto.

Whilst the location is good, it is not easily accessible to sizeable supermarkets (need to change subway lines). More importantly, the staff at reception is not very helpful in terms of giving directions - most will only give very rough descriptions, and getting lost is a high probability.

Good location, walking distance to alot of things, rooms were a little dated as it is a old hotel, but everything else is good for the price you pay.

We initially booked a 2 bedroom apartment, once arrived we were told there weren't any available due to some damaged caused by the typhoon. We were offered a 1 bedroom suite plus a 1 bedroom to substitute. As we were already delayed by said typhoon we were just happy to have a place to stay and have asked if a 2 bedder become available during hour 8 night stay we will be happy to move. However we weren't offered to a 2 bedder at any point after that. The rooms were very dated, there were mould on the tiles in the bathroom as well. The location is the only favourable point of this apartment.

We booked two rooms for our trip. Overall old style, furnitures were old. Rooms not clean properly. The hotel is connected to the mall and one night there was construction work after 11pm. The next morning 7am the constructions continued from 7am to 8am, it was very noisy and i was awakened by those noisy construction. It was u acceptable services indeed. Spoke to tbe hotel they explained they were not informed with the on site construction in mid nite and early morning. It was not a nice stay overall
