If you come to Beijing, you must visit these old hutongs! They're so beautiful!
📸 Check out autumn in Beijing's hutongs 🍂
💫 In this cool autumn season, I decided to take a walk in Beijing's hutongs! The sun was warm, and I walked slowly along the old alleys. 😌
🏠 The old houses in the hutongs exude a unique charm, and I even saw a little cat basking in the sun on the roof. 😻 There are many cats playing in the hutongs, and they are so cute! 🐱
🌤️ The sky was a bright blue, and flocks of pigeons flew by from time to time, adding a touch of vibrancy to the scene! 🕊️ This time, I chose Beiqianchuan Hutong and Zhanzi Hutong as the background for my photos, as they both have a strong historical atmosphere. 📸
🍁 The autumn leaves quietly fell in the hutongs, adding a touch of poetry and warmth to the ancient streets. I walked slowly, stopping from time to time to pick up a fallen leaf and feel the charm of autumn. 🍂

Sanlitun East 5th Street Ginkgo Avenue | Beijing Autumn Check-in Spot.
| Beijing Autumn Check-in Spot. Located on Sanlitun East 5th Street in Chaoyang District, Beijing, Ginkgo Avenue is a great place to enjoy autumn in Beiping. Every autumn, the ginkgo trees on both sides of the street turn yellow, creating a strong autumn atmosphere for pedestrians. The buildings on both sides of the avenue blend with ancient charm, and the yellow leaves are hidden, and history and modernity collide with each other, giving people infinite reverie. Being in it, you can not only appreciate the beauty of nature, but also feel the cultural atmosphere of the capital. This is not only a paradise for photography enthusiasts, but also a great place for tourists to feel the autumn in Beijing.
Before leaving Beijing, be sure to visit this century-old church.
Beijing is truly a treasure trove! Having lived here for over 20 years, this is the first time I've discovered such a stunning Catholic church. 💒
Don't miss this place during your short holiday in Beijing.
This is the Xishiku Church ⛪️, which has a history of over 100 years and is the largest Catholic church in Beijing. It has been around for over 300 years and still retains the calligraphy of Emperor Kangxi.
The main building is a three-story Gothic structure with 11 spires at the top, and the building's floor plan is cross-shaped.
The two Chinese-style pavilions outside the church give it a unique blend of Eastern and Western aesthetics.
The church's interior is resplendent, with a golden dome supported by 300 giant columns and 80 stained glass windows depicting the history of Catholicism in China.
The church has a strong Oriental character, and the sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows in the afternoon is incredibly sacred.
Many couples choose to hold their weddings here. 💒 On the day we visited, we saw three couples entering the church one after another.
The church offers different beautiful views at different times of the year. 🌸 In spring, there are crabapple blossoms, and in winter, ❄️ the snow-covered pine trees in front of the church add to its mystery.
⚠️Note:
📍 No. 33, Xishiku Street, Xicheng District
👉🏼 About reservations: No reservation is required, and you can enter the church! However, the main entrance is usually closed, so you need to enter through the small door on the right.
📅 Visiting time: If you are just visiting for sightseeing and taking photos, avoid misa time.
During misa, photography and videography are not allowed, and you cannot leave your seat unless there are special circumstances! It is recommended to visit on Saturdays, as there are fewer sessions, only in the morning. Sundays are not recommended.
It is best to visit around 4 pm on a sunny day, 🌞 when the indoor lighting is optimal.

Beijing Hotel/Great Experience Near Temple of Heaven!
The Temple of Heaven is lit up at night recently, and I really want to see it. I chose the Hilton Garden Inn Beijing Temple of Heaven for this weekend, and the experience was great.
The surrounding environment is excellent. It's close to the Temple of Heaven, just a 15-minute walk away. You can easily feel the charm of the ancient capital and visit all the popular spots. Longtan Park is also nearby, which is worth a visit.
The hotel lobby is spacious and bright. The service is attentive, and the staff are enthusiastic and warm, making you feel at home. Pizza Hut and Starbucks are right next door.
The room is comfortable, with soft bedding and complete facilities. I slept well every night. The breakfast is a highlight, with Beijing specialties such as pea cake and glutinous rice rolls with sweet bean flour. The variety is rich and the taste is authentic, giving you a great start to the day.
The second floor has a gym, laundry room, meeting room, banquet hall, and other facilities to meet the needs of fitness enthusiasts and business people.
The first-floor lobby offers a variety of food options. There are also rest areas, antique display racks, blue and white porcelain display racks, and more, creating a strong cultural and artistic atmosphere. Overall, I'm very satisfied with everything!
If your first stop is the Temple of Heaven, this is a great place to stay.
The world is a floating white, and Beijing has become Beiping.

Amazing! A great place to visit in Beijing for free.
It is said to be an old internet-famous place, because the cave architecture aesthetics became popular for a while. I didn't expect there to be so few people when I went there this time.
If you don't want to squeeze in with the crowd, hurry up! You can also go to the box across the street and spend a whole day shopping and eating.
✅ Few people
✅ Great photos
✅ Free, no reservation required
✅ Visually stunning
✅ Not only exhibitions, but also cultural and creative products, exhibitions, books, and food
✅ City center, convenient transportation, the box is next to it, you can visit together
It is essentially a furniture art space, with exhibitions, bars and restaurants, book bars, and cultural and creative arts. There are four floors in total, three above ground and one underground. You can take great photos on every floor!
The most amazing thing is the design of the entire space, which is definitely the most unique and meaningful I have ever seen.
The overall design is based on the Silk Road culturalism, that is, cave civilization. From the white Yadan landform, Loulan Ancient City, Jiaohe Ancient City, Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves to the cave dwellings on the Loess Plateau, they have all become design inspirations and are integrated into the architecture. The most amazing thing is the design of the irregular skylight on the roof, and the spiral staircase printed with the Dunhuang flying murals, which is very amazing. The style of the northwest is elegantly captured!
✅ Best shooting locations: mural spiral staircase, skylight on the first floor, portrait and skylight on the third floor
⚠️ Sunny days, it is best to go when the sky is blue and the sun is shining, otherwise you will feel like me, taking photos of the sky that are all white and can only be edited later

🪄 Universal Happy Diary ||| Hi, Universal, I'm back!
||| Hi, Universal, I'm back! This is my second visit to Universal Studios, and it still feels amazing. It's such a great place for taking photos! Every scene looks like it has its own filter, and every shot turns out great.
But I have to remind everyone, if you're visiting Universal Studios in November, pay attention to the weather. The temperature difference between day and night is huge, and it can get really chilly. So, make sure to bring a thick coat 🧥, or else you'll feel the cold wind while walking around the park at night.
I had a great time playing and taking photos in the park, trying out different poses, and capturing happy moments in every picture. Universal Studios has this magical power that no matter how many times you visit, you'll always have a great time.
If you're planning to visit Universal Studios around this time, don't forget to check out my tips. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time here too.
Why didn't anyone tell me that the East Suburb Forest is so beautiful in autumn!
East Suburb Forest is a hidden gem
There are few people here 🍁
It's quiet and not noisy, and there are many red leaves
Including red maple, ginkgo, birch, cotinus coggygria, etc.
There is also a large wetland in the South Park 🌲
Very suitable for outdoor leisure and entertainment in autumn
Parking is also very convenient, and parking spaces are not tight
But because of the location in the east 🚗
Only suitable for friends in Chaoyang District and Tongzhou District
It's a bit far from other places
There is no subway nearby, only suitable for self-driving! 🚇
-
🧭 Locate "East Suburb Forest Park North China Arboretum"
🎫 No tickets, free parking
⌚️ Recommended before 3 pm, the sun is good
-
The maple trees in the North Park of East Suburb Forest are relatively lush
The birch forest in the South Park is relatively tall 🌿
There is also a wetland and reed marsh, which is very photogenic
Autumn in Beijing is very short 🍂
If you want to go for an autumn walk, you have to do it early, or the leaves will fall off
📍
Beijing!! Nanluoguxiang! A courtyard hotel I've stayed at three times! Super fun and I love it.
I've always wanted to stay in a courtyard in a hutong, and I finally got to! I saw a lot of people recommending this homestay, so I booked it right away. The Chinese-style decor is stunning, and it's clean and tidy. There's also a courtyard and terrace.
The night view is super healing, and it's so quiet you can meditate. 😭😭😭😭
You can walk to Nanluoguxiang, and it's super convenient to visit famous Beijing attractions. The Drum Tower, Wangfujing, and Shichahai are all within walking distance.
There's also authentic zhajiangmian and popular Qingyu yogurt nearby, and they taste great.
The public terrace in the homestay restaurant is a great place to take photos. 😄😄😄😄
The terrace on the third floor has a panoramic view of Nanluoguxiang, and the view is amazing. 👍👍👍👍
Universal Studios punishes everyone who doesn't do their homework! No express pass!

Badaling Great Wall Travel Guide: Don't come without a plan!
💖Transportation:
❌Avoid: Beijing Tourist Distribution Center's round-trip bus. Although it costs CNY 80 for a round trip, the parking spot is often far from the attraction.
✅Recommended: Deshengmen 877 bus, which goes directly to Badaling Great Wall. CNY 6 with a card, CNY 12 in cash (children under 1.3m are free, and you can use Alipay to pay for the bus). Operating hours: Deshengmen to Badaling Great Wall 06:00–12:00, Badaling Great Wall to Deshengmen 10:30–17:00 (from Deshengmen, exit from Jishuitan Subway Station Exit B2, and walk to Deshengmen Arrow Tower to take the bus).
💖Cable car:
❌Avoid: Round-trip cable car tickets. The queue is super long, like the queue for popular rides at Disney and Universal, and there is no waiting time reminder at the entrance. If you take a 2-minute cable car from the back mountain to the North Sixth Floor and want to return to the front mountain after climbing to the North Twelfth Floor, you will have to climb back to the North Sixth Floor to take the return cable car, which is tiring and requires queuing for one or two hours. Many people choose a one-way ticket (buy a cable car or slide down the mountain when tired) instead.
💖When to visit:
❌Avoid Monday: All major attractions in Beijing are closed on Monday, so many people will arrange to visit Tiananmen and the Great Wall, making it very crowded.
💖ID:
✅Bring: ID cards for all travelers, including adults who buy tickets (can enter in the morning or afternoon) and minors, seniors, etc. who are free.
💖Summer heat and rain preparation:
✅Heat: You can fill a thermos with ice cubes and add your favorite drink.
✅Rain: If rain is forecast, prepare disposable raincoats in advance, as they are expensive at the attraction.
The Monet Garden in autumn is a sight to behold.
🍂 The free park near the Fourth Ring Road is easily accessible by subway and is a great place to enjoy the autumn scenery. If you missed the Monet Garden in Beijing this summer, come and see the misty Dian Garden Flower Valley in autumn for a different experience.

Enter through the east gate of the park and you'll see a variety of flowers in full bloom.
2️⃣ Ginkgo Forest
There are several ginkgo forests in front of the flower valley, decorated in red, yellow, and blue. The autumn scenery is in full swing.
3️⃣ Central Lawn
The sacred tree is a great photo spot. The large lawn is as flat as a carpet, perfect for taking kids, reading, flying kites, picnicking, or sunbathing.
4️⃣ Red Maple Forest
There are several beautiful red maples near the lake in front of the Dian Garden Flower Valley, perfect for photos.
5️⃣ Danling Qingbo
There are benches, wooden bridges, and stone steps by the lake, and occasionally black swans and mallards swim by, creating a picturesque scene.
6️⃣ Future Space
There are many small yellow flowers in full bloom.
7️⃣ College Student AI Art Exhibition
Take a stroll along the river and see an exhibition, and marvel at the power of AI.
📍[Haidian Park]
> Time: 6:00–21:00
> Tickets: Free
> Self-driving: Navigate to the "Haidian Park" east gate, parking lot 3r/15min
> Subway: Exit A Northwest of Wanquanheqiao Station on Line 16, walk 5 minutes to the east gate of the park
Love the peaceful place here
[Airport Pick-up/Transfer] Must-read before departure
[Notes on booking]

Our service is a reservation-based product, and after you place your order, the supplier will assign a dedicated driver according to your vehicle time. In order to provide you with high-quality service, we recommend that you make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance.
2. Do the pick-up and drop-off points have to be at the airport?
Yes, we currently only provide airport transfer services.
3. Can I choose the pick-up vehicle time myself without entering the flight number?
In order for the pick-up service to go smoothly, the driver needs to adjust the time according to the flight's trends, so you need to provide the flight number to make a reservation.
4. How do I choose the appropriate drop-off vehicle time?
Plan your itinerary based on the check-in deadline of your flight. In general, we recommend that you arrive at the airport 2-3 hours before the plane takes off. When planning your time, remember to include the travel time.
5. Why can't I see the vehicle allocation information yet even though the reservation was successful?
After successful booking, we will assign a vehicle by the latest departure time. Although the waiting time will be longer, a vehicle will be assigned. If a vehicle cannot be assigned or is not assigned in time, we will compensate at least 20% of the order amount. If the driver is late, you can cancel the order without loss.
6. Where will the driver wait after arriving at the airport?
The driver will pick you up at the designated location according to the rules of each airport. Most orders are provided with a meeting point guide, and you can reach the meeting place by following the guide on the order details page or email.
If there is no meeting point guide, you can contact the driver by online message (real-time translation is provided) or call the customer service hotline to confirm the pick-up point.
In addition, to provide more convenient service, we also provide additional services such as pick-up sign pick-up and child seat. If you order to receive a pick-up sign, the driver will wait at the airport exit with a sign with your name on it, so you don't have to hoeft to find the meeting point.
7. If the flight is delayed, do I need to cancel my order and rebook?
No need to! The driver will track your flight number in real time, and if your flight is delayed, your pickup time will be delayed, but don't worry. Example: Your flight is scheduled to arrive at 10:00 and you plan to pick up at 10:40, but if your flight is delayed at 11:00, your pickup time will also be delayed to 11:40, and you can check the latest pickup time on the order details page.
8. How do you handle my order if my flight is canceled or dropped off?
In such cases, you can cancel the order and get a full refund. You can always reorder after the situation is clarified.
9. How is the driver's free waiting time calculated?
Each order has a free waiting time (the waiting time varies depending on the product you select). The free waiting time is calculated from the pickup time you select.
Example: If your pickup time is 10:40 and the free waiting time is 2 hours, the driver will wait for free from 10:40 and wait until 12:40.
If your flight is delayed for a pick-up order, the free waiting time will be calculated from the rental time after the delay, and you can check the end time of the latest free waiting time on the order details page.
The driver will wait free of charge within the free waiting time. If the free waiting time is exceeded, please contact the driver to confirm whether a rental car is available. If a rental car is required, please pay the driver directly in cash according to the excess fee standard on the policy page.
10. Can I add a stopover on the way?
We do not generally provide a service to add a stopover, but if necessary, you may negotiate directly with the driver and pay an additional fee.

To ensure the safety of driving, only small items can be placed on the seat. For example, handbags and backpacks. Suitcases are not allowed.
3. What should I do if my luggage exceeds the capacity of the vehicle?

Beijing Travel: An Awe-Inspiring Journey to the Great Wall, Looking Forward to Exploring the Mountains Again.
Finally, I set foot on the Great Wall, a place I've longed to visit, and it was truly awe-inspiring! The Great Wall winds and stretches like a giant dragon perched atop the mountains, exuding grandeur. Climbing step by step along the stone stairs, flanked by ancient walls and watchtowers, it felt as if I could hear the echoes of history. Despite the hot weather, standing on the Great Wall, feeling the breeze, and overlooking the winding mountains, all discomfort vanished. This journey to the Great Wall not only allowed me to appreciate the indomitable spirit of the Chinese people but also deeply understand the heroic sentiment of 'He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man.' I look forward to the next opportunity to come here and continue my Great Wall story!

Avoid Visiting Pop Mart City Park
Driven by the curiosity to explore despite knowing the potential pitfalls, I visited this popular park located in Chaoyang Park, only to find it truly disappointing.
The entrance fee of 180 RMB is quite steep and not worth it at all. For adults, there's really nothing of interest, and the park itself is quite small. It's mainly about taking photos with some plastic dolls or waiting in long lines to get stamps. Even if you bring children, the ticket price is high, and the attractions are just simple rides without any unique features.
It's better to visit the nearby Chaoyang Park to fly kites, set up tents, or go boating. You can even see the Pop Mart Castle from there. Essentially, it's just a shopping spot with most items being very expensive and exclusive to the park, creating a 180 RMB barrier.
The entrance is filled with SF Express deliveries. Bringing kids here only fosters consumerism. #PopMart #PopMartCityPark #Labubu #Molly #ChaoyangDistrict #ChaoyangPark #BlueHarbor

Autumn in the Forbidden City: The ginkgo trees in the Forbidden City are in full bloom.
🏛️ Compared to many temples in Beijing, the Forbidden City is a place with a high concentration of ancient buildings, but the ginkgo trees are scattered. In terms of density, only the area near the western palace wall has a lot of ginkgo trees. It is a must-visit place for taking photos when visiting the Forbidden City in autumn. I have personally tested that the ginkgo trees here have already changed color in the past few days.
🍃 Although there are several ginkgo trees in the Forbidden City, the Eighteen Scholar Trees is undoubtedly a relatively suitable place to check in. Stroll to the Right Gate next to the Hall of Supreme Harmony, turn around and walk a few steps forward, and you will see this golden ocean. This ginkgo forest is tall and dense, and is now dressed in golden splendor, with fallen leaves all over the ground. The golden leaves contrast with the red walls and the flying eaves of the palace, making it particularly delicate and charming.
🌞 In the afternoon sunlight, the ginkgo trees look dense and spectacular like guards, and a wooden plank road just passes through them, full of autumn flavor. When the autumn wind blows, the golden leaves sway in the sky, creating a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. The golden fallen leaves on the ground form a "golden path" that is fascinating.
⏰ When is the best time to go? There will be no strong wind or heavy rain in the next few days, and the leaves can last for at least a week.
⏰ What time is the scenery more beautiful? Go early in the morning or after 3 pm. The light will be blocked by the buildings at noon.
🌈 Estimated time? If you just want to see the scenery and take photos, it will take less than 2 hours.
👣 Reference route and check-in place: There is no navigation coordinate on the map. The specific location is north of the Right Gate, southeast of the Icehouse Restaurant, and north of the Duanhong Bridge. There are about 20 tall ginkgo trees, which can be seen at a glance.
⭐ More description of the surrounding scenery: Quiet in the midst of noise, not many tourists, next to the Ancient Building Restoration Management Office, there are staff members taking care of it, and you cannot step on the lawn.
📷 Ideas for taking beautiful photos: The scenery can be taken with a wide-angle or telephoto lens, which is relatively easy. If it is a portrait, you can only take a wide-angle photo.
👍 How to buy tickets: Buy a ticket to the Forbidden City.
🔥 Must-see tips before checking in:
1. No need to check in separately.
2. Better photos when there is sunlight.
3. Ancient costume commercial photography is strictly controlled.
📍 Location: Inside the Palace Museum, No. 4 Jingshan Front Street, Dongcheng District
⏰ Opening hours: Same as the opening hours of the Forbidden City
🏞 Type of play: City walk, landscape photography
Yuyuantan Park is a great place to take photos of ginkgo trees at night.
In autumn, the ginkgo leaves in Beijing turn yellow, making it the best time to enjoy the autumn scenery. If you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy the quiet autumn scenery, Yuyuantan Park at night is definitely your best choice.
📍Location: Yuyuantan Park is located in Haidian District, Beijing, and is famous for its beautiful ginkgo forest. The park is bustling during the day, but at night, it becomes a secret base for photography enthusiasts.
🕗Best time: Evening to night. As night falls, the park's visitors gradually disperse, and the ginkgo forest becomes particularly quiet, making it an excellent time to photograph ginkgo trees. It is expected that such beautiful scenery can last for about a week on windless days.
📸Photography equipment:
• Tripod: At night, the light is insufficient, and a tripod can help you stabilize the camera and capture clear ginkgo scenery.
• Camera: A professional camera can capture more details, but a good phone can also take satisfactory photos.
• Lighting equipment: A flashlight or small LED light can provide extra light for your shooting when needed.
👗Dress suggestions:
• The temperature is low at night in autumn, so remember to bring a warm coat.
• Wear comfortable shoes, as you may need to walk a long distance in the park.
🚗Transportation:
• Subway: Take Subway Line 1 to Military Museum Station, and walk to Yuyuantan Park.
• Self-driving: There is a parking lot near the park, but it is recommended to plan your parking location in advance to avoid not finding a parking space.
🍂Shooting tips:
• Long exposure: Use a tripod to fix the camera and try long exposure shooting to capture the dreamy effect of ginkgo leaves swaying in the breeze.
• Low-angle shooting: Try shooting from a low angle to highlight the height of the ginkgo trees and the golden leaves.
• Portrait photography: If you have company, you can use the ginkgo trees as a background to take some warm portrait photos.
🌟Tips:
• Keep quiet and enjoy the tranquility.
• Respect the environment and do not damage the ginkgo trees.
• Bring enough batteries and memory cards, as you may take many beautiful photos.
