Accommodation 🏠 If you go to Kanas, you must stay in a log cabin. It looks great in photos, and the area around the cabin is also very photogenic. I stayed at a guesthouse called Youzai Youzai, which was very nice! It even had a smart toilet, and the underfloor heating was adjustable. 📷 I mostly used the iPhone camera. You don't need a reflector in the snow! When the weather is good, the natural reflection of the sun on the snow makes your face look very clear, and you can take great photos without even trying. OOTD Hats, scarves, earmuffs, and sunglasses are essential for the atmosphere and warmth! It can be very cold when the wind blows on snowy days! But when the sun is out, it won't be too cold. Hemu Village is a small village situated in Kanas Nature Reserve in Altay, northern Xinjiang. It is the most remote and largest of the three habitats of the Tuvas, an ethnic group who still live a simple, ancient lifestyle by grazing animals and hunting. It has been voted by a travel magazine as one of the five most beautiful villages in China. The scenery during winter is exceptionally beautiful. The entire experience is enhanced by the beautiful rustic surroundings that are shrouded in a thick veil of white fluffy soft snow.
