The Ancient City of Athens

It was surreal to walk around what used to be the home of the famous Greek gods and goddesses, which was named after the goddess of wisdom - Athena. The pillars that stood through time and reign of different rulers yet remained to keep visitors in awe. From the Acropolis, Parthenon, Panathenaic Stadium, Lycabettus Hill and many more, it remains one of the most visited historical cities in the world. And oh, the first ever modern olympic games was held here (the ancient games was first held in another city in Greece - Olympia).
