A Serene Journey by the Lake: Wat Lan Boon

Day 2: The next afternoon, I returned to Wat Lan Boon, this time choosing to take a small boat to tour the lake surrounding the temple. The boat moved slowly, the lake surface shimmering with waves, surrounded by lush trees and occasionally flying water birds. In the distance, devotees were releasing fish into the lake, creating a sense of harmony between nature and religion. After returning to the temple, I participated in a blessing ceremony hosted by monks, experiencing the profound and solemn Buddhist culture. In the evening, the sunset bathed the entire temple in a warm orange glow, a scene that deeply imprinted in my memory. Wat Lan Boon is not just a temple, but a sanctuary for the soul. Here, I found a moment of tranquility, allowing my restless heart to calm down.
