In Chongqing!! Affordable hotel! You won't want to check out

Chongqing Rissai Valley, a Hyatt Affiliated Hotel weekend stay experience I wanted to escape the cold in Guiyang for the weekend, so I decided to use my C4 room voucher to redeem a free night at Chongqing Rissai Valley, a Hyatt Affiliated Hotel. The hotel is located in the WFC World Financial Center on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, with the entrance near the Guotai Theater. The first floor is a shared entrance lobby with the office building and the Huixianlou Observation Deck, with a small area on the left side set aside as the hotel reception lobby. The actual hotel lobby is on the 69th floor. ✅Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing was a noticeable shortcoming during this stay, which is rare for hotels of this level and seriously affected the quality of my rest. There was no negative information mentioned in the article regarding cleanliness, so I assume the overall cleanliness was normal. 🏘️Room type/Layout: The front desk kindly upgraded my room to a 60 m² Sky River View King Room, which was on the Jiefangbei side and had a partial river view. The overall style was French luxury, and the actual texture was better than the photos. However, there were some issues with the layout design, such as the height and width of the footstool at the end of the bed, which caused frequent knee bumps. 🛌Supplies/Facilities: The hotel lobby was nicely decorated, although the space was a bit empty, but there were many artworks to decorate it. The lobby bar next to it had a 270-degree view of the whole of Chongqing. The hotel did not have a swimming pool, but there was an executive lounge. The room was equipped with a capsule coffee machine and a smart toilet from an unknown brand, but the mini bar drinks were not free. In addition, the automatic sensor switch in the room was not user-friendly, as the lights and power would turn on or off automatically when reading, working, or resting, and the air conditioning temperature was not stable. 💰Per capita consumption: The hotel cash price was high, about RMB 1,300 per night. Considering the current issues with the hotel, the cost performance of a cash stay was not high. 💗Other tips: Most of the staff were friendly and responsive. For example, when I ordered takeout and headphones in the middle of the night, the front desk arranged for a concierge to deliver them to my room in less than 10 minutes. However, there were often non-hotel guests who came to the lobby to take photos to save money, which made the lobby crowded and chaotic. If you just want to enjoy the night view and unique building view of Chongqing, staying for one or two nights is a good choice. However, for frequent travelers and business guests, the above factors may not make it an ideal choice. Overall, Chongqing Rissai Valley, a Hyatt Affiliated Hotel has unique views and friendly staff, but there is still room for improvement in the details of the hardware facilities and management.
