This hotel is at the top of my list of places to stay in Chongqing.

I've been to Chongqing countless times and stayed in countless hotels, but none have captivated me like this one. Yes, captivated me. 😍 I never knew a hotel could be so beautiful, artistic, and historic all at once. It's the Jixia Mountain Hotel in Chongqing. 🏨 Jixia Mountain Hotel is located on Xiahao Old Street in Nan'an District, Chongqing, less than 300 meters from the subway station. It has a great location and convenient transportation. Best of all, it's right next to Dongshuimen Bridge, a great place to see the night view. Jixia Mountain Hotel is a century-old house that has been renovated. The whole building is in the style of the Republic of China, with gray walls and wooden windows, making you feel like you've stepped into old Chongqing in the 1930s. It's located in the beautiful Xiahao Old Street Scenic Area, surrounded by many century-old buildings, forming a beautiful picture. Especially at night, when the lights are on, standing on Dongshuimen Bridge and looking back at the historic buildings, the lights are beautiful beyond words. There are countless great photo spots around Jixia Mountain Hotel, and the Dongshuimen Bridge viewing platform is just a stone's throw away. There are also many delicious foods and stylish cafes nearby, making it a very convenient place to stay. 🛁 The hotel's decor is in the style of the Republic of China, with elegant and atmospheric furniture and noble and elegant room designs. Every detail and every decoration is heartwarming. Walking into the courtyard, from the neatly trimmed flowers and trees to the exquisite tables and chairs, you feel like you're walking in a courtyard from the Republic of China. It's so charming. I stayed in a river view room, and when I opened the window, I was greeted by the beautiful scenery of the Yangtze River. Drinking tea or coffee on the balcony was so relaxing and comfortable. The room was artistically decorated, warm, and romantic. From the bedding to the toiletries, everything was high-end and luxurious, making for a very comfortable stay. When I checked in, I was given osmanthus cake, which added a poetic touch to my stay in Chongqing. The hotel was even more charming when it rained. Breakfast was great, exquisite, and delicious, and the Chongqing noodles were very authentic. Eating breakfast while looking at the river view was so romantic and felt like a real vacation. 💁‍♂️ The butler service was also very attentive. They cleaned the room in a timely manner and spoke very gently, treating me like family with patience and care. They greeted me when I checked in and asked if I had any dietary restrictions for breakfast the next day. It was so thoughtful. I couldn't help but take a lot of photos while staying here, wanting to capture every corner of the hotel to enjoy later. If you like the style of the Republic of China, don't miss this hotel when you come to Chongqing. It will surprise you. Xiahao Old Street is actually very bustling and lively, but the hotel is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Taking a walk along the river in the morning and evening, seeing the night view, and having a coffee at night is the ideal vacation spot.
