#hikingtime #100waysoftravel Hike with me and discover new findings. On my recent hike to Toru aux Cerfs, I came across this interesting blue weather station at a secluded part on the hiking trail. I came to realize that this is an importation weather station for Mauritius Meteorological Services to check for weather forecasts, patterns and tracking cyclones. It looked old from the outside but it is still working well. Since it is situated on a volcano so it is on a higher ground to monitor the entire island. Luckily there is a hiking trail and cars can pass through or else it will be a long walk for the weathermen to come here everytime.The views here are amazing as it look out towards Indian Ocean. #mauritius #traveltips #liveyourdreams #takethattrip
