Dongna Yuwan Scenic Area

Dongna Yuwan Scenic Area is located in Anping Village, Leiping Town, Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi, about 180 km from Nanning, the capital of Guangxi, and less than 20 km from the nearest highway exit. It is located downstream of Detian Transnational Waterfall, about 1 hour by car. The scenic area is famous for its rich natural and cultural resources, with beautiful karst landscapes and diverse Tusi, border, and Zhuang cultures. The main attractions are concentrated in the "Eight Sceneries of Dongna Yuwan", including Water Illusion, Guantian Farm, Swallow Cave, Xiake Trail, Longbi Beach, Waterfall Market, Forest Maze, and Po Huang Island. Dongna Yuwan Scenic Area was rated as a Chinese original ecological scenic area in 2015, a national 4A tourist attraction, and a wetland park in 2017. Daxin is known as the "Hometown of Tusi Culture in China", and Anping Village, where Dongna Yuwan Scenic Area is located, is a cultural heritage site of Daxin Tusi, with important cultural witnesses such as Anping Shizhou Site and Huixian Rock. Xu Xiake recorded Anping Tuzhou in his "Xu Xiake's Travels: Diary of the Western Tour of Guangdong 26", leaving a precious historical record for the scenic area. Dongna Yuwan Scenic Area is known as the "Different Lijiang River" and "Guishui Xianhe River", gathering the essence of the strange mountains and beautiful waters of southwestern Guangxi, and has been used as a location for many films and TV dramas such as "The Journey of Flower" and "The Legend of Zu Mountain". Visitors can experience Zhuang folk customs here, such as Tusi welcoming ceremony, eight-tone drum music and dragon dance, some of which are reproduced in the scenic area in the form of performances. Opening hours are 05/01-10/31 08:00-17:40, 11/01-04/30 08:00-17:10, with boat departures starting at 8:00 am, every half hour or when full. Ticket prices start at 35 yuan for group purchase, 130 yuan for adult full tour package, 106 yuan for preferential tickets (children/elderly/students), and 82 yuan for elderly over 65 years old/active military/disabled/journalists. The scenic area offers a rich travel experience, including boat tours and island activities, allowing visitors to experience the natural beauty of karst landscapes and Tusi culture.
