Tibet Travel: Natural Spectacles!

I visited Tibet in China. One of the three sacred lakes in Tibet is Yamdrok Lake, located at an altitude of 4,441 meters. The name means 'Turquoise Lake,' and true to its name, the lake's turquoise blue color is stunning, as if it has absorbed the blue of the sky. The photo was taken from Kampa La Pass (4,749 meters) in front of Yamdrok Lake, where you can see the snow-capped Himalayas in the distance. It takes about an hour and a half by car from Lhasa to Yamdrok Lake, making it more accessible than Namtso, and thus a popular tourist destination.
