Mid-Autumn Festival in Guangzhou, enjoy the beauty of Panyu.

Mid-Autumn Festival is coming, and Guangzhou is still as hot as ever. Where to go❓ Go to Panyu! Let me tell you about my itinerary and travel tips for this trip to Panyu! Day 1: Tianhe District → Panyu Bridge → Shawan Ancient Town → Hotel (near Panyu Bridge) On the first afternoon, I set off from Tianhe District. It took more than an hour to drive to Shawan Ancient Town. I passed several bridges in Guangzhou 🌉 and saw Canton Tower, West Tower, and East Tower (the three towers of Guangzhou). After arriving, I felt that it was different from the water towns in Jiangnan. The water (rivers 🏞️, lakes) looked different, and the ancient buildings were also very different. I was hungry as soon as I arrived, so I went to eat a bowl of dessert, which was very sweet and soft. There were snack stalls on both sides of the ancient town (especially stinky tofu), and the most special scenery here was the oyster shell wall, which could be seen everywhere. The largest one I saw was next to Wenfeng Tower. It was dark after a casual walk. On the way back to the parking lot, I accidentally passed by Wenfeng Tower, took a photo, and found that huge oyster shell wall (the last two photos behind Wenfeng Tower). Finally, I ate a bowl of very special noodles before getting in the car. Overall, this trip to the ancient town was good. Although it was still very commercialized, it had different scenery from the water towns in Jiangnan. Day 2: Hotel → Dafushan Forest Park → Outlets → Tianhe The second day was Mid-Autumn Festival. I woke up naturally and drove to Dafushan. Panyu felt completely different from the modern but messy Tianhe. It was very clean and tidy. I could rent a bicycle at the entrance, but the price was a bit high. If possible, I recommend bringing your own bike. My home was far away, so I chose to rent a bike. It was not very comfortable to ride, but it was okay. The overall distance was not far, and the slope was not steep. I quickly rode to another gate. There were several reservoirs and lakes along the way, and the scenery was picturesque and charming. The trees 🌲, rivers 🏞️, and bridges 🌉 made the forest park so beautiful. Cycling consumed a lot of energy, and I was soon hungry, so I went to the nearby outlets. After a full meal, it was time to go home. I really look forward to meeting Panyu again❗ By the way, the weather in Guangzhou seemed not very good that day. There was supposed to be a super moon, but I didn't get to take a photo of it. What a pity😭, but the moon 🌙 the next day was still very beautiful! Panyu travel tips: 1: Even in October, Panyu is very sunny, so pay attention to sun protection. 2: It is recommended to bring or rent a bicycle in Dafushan. Walking is still tiring. In addition, it is recommended to spend an extra 10 yuan to rent a mountain bike, which is more convenient for uphill riding.
