Lingnan Old Dream in Guangzhou: Chen Clan Ancestral Hall.

Also known as "Chen Clan Academy", it is located on Zhongshan 7th Road, Guangzhou. The academy was built in the 14th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and completed in the 19th year. It is a "clan ancestral hall" funded by the Chen clan from all over Guangdong Province. It is one of the largest existing traditional Cantonese buildings and the largest, best-preserved, and most exquisitely decorated ancestral hall-style building. It is known as the "Pearl of Lingnan Architectural Art". The entire house, from the base column to the roof ridge, uses stone carvings, brick carvings, wood carvings, gray plastic pottery, copper and iron casting, and color painting. The overall shape is vivid, the colors are rich, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. Guo Moruo once wrote a poem praising it: "Heavenly work can be replaced by man, but man-made heaven is unknown.
