Day 1: Tracing the Footsteps of Great Figures In the early morning, I visited the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a quiet and solemn building nestled among lush greenery. Inside, the hall displays many precious materials and artifacts related to Sun Yat-sen, from manuscripts to letters, making me feel as if I had traveled back to that turbulent revolutionary era. I carefully read each piece of text, feeling the deep concern Mr. Sun had for the future of the country. The multimedia images in the exhibition hall vividly recreated important scenes from the Xinhai Revolution, deeply moving my heart. In the afternoon, I walked to the small garden outside the hall, sat quietly, and reflected on the timeless spirit. Day 2: Immersing in the Fusion of History and Art On the second day, I turned my attention to the intersection of history and art by visiting the Lingnan Finance Museum. This museum records the development of Guangzhou as a commercial hub, displaying coins and notes from various industries, which are of great cultural and collectible value. The museum's design blends modern and traditional elements, with the lighting and layout of the exhibition halls being particularly ingenious. A wall showcasing the timeline of financial development gave me a new understanding of the economic changes in Lingnan. Leaving the museum, I ended this knowledge-filled and insightful journey with a mind full of thoughts and reflections. Over these two days, I traversed between history and modernity, deeply appreciating the rich cultural heritage of Guangzhou as a famous cultural city, and admiring even more those who have strived for national rejuvenation.
