The "First Boat of China" was unearthed here~~Kuahuqiao Site Museum

Kuahuqiao Site Museum is located at No. 978, Xianghu Road, Xianghu Scenic Area, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The site is named after the nearby Kuahu Bridge. In November 2002, the "First Boat of China" was unearthed here, and this museum was built on the original site. It is a museum that comprehensively reflects the archaeological excavation and research results of the Kuahuqiao site. There is a site protection hall 6.5 meters below the lake surface, where a canoe from 8,000 years ago lies quietly. The existence of the Kuahuqiao Site Museum has moved the history of Zhejiang civilization forward by 1,000 years. It has extremely high archaeological value and research significance, but it is often overlooked due to the lack of attention to Xianghu.
