Pathfinder Episode 102: The Silent Bixia Shengmu Temple.

Fifth self-driving trip to Shanxi during National Day, Day 4, Stop 4: Bixia Shengmu Temple, Hongtong County, Linfen City. 🌺 This place is even more niche. We drove into Fangdui Village, winding around half a circle before finding the entrance. The gate was wide open, with no one guarding it, giving off a vibe of safety and honesty. The temple has two courtyards. The Shengmu Hall at the deepest part is not large, with walls covered in hanging sculptures. The painted 3D dragon sculptures on the pillars are especially eye-catching. The painted beams are exquisite. 🌺 Built in the 2nd year of the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1523). Free entry and parking. 🌺 Long drive, stayed in Changzhi.
