Legend has it that to commemorate the brave soldiers who enlisted, the Kongpo people would offer sacrifices and keep vigil. On this day, the entire Kongpo region is immersed in a joyful and peaceful atmosphere. People dress up in their best clothes🤵‍♀️, visit relatives and friends, exchange blessings, and participate in lively folk activities, allowing you to fully appreciate the charm of traditional Tibetan culture. 🌟Pulan New Year (1st day of the 11th month of the Tibetan calendar) During the Pulan New Year in Ngari, children👧 dress in brand new Tibetan clothes, line up, sing cheerful nursery rhymes, and go from house to house asking for gifts. It's super cute. On the first day of the New Year, Tibetans wear expensive traditional costumes, bow to their parents and elders, drink "Yangzi," and then go to the Kegya Monastery to worship. It's full of ceremony. 🌙Agricultural New Year (1st day of the 12th month of the Tibetan calendar) The food🥣 during the Agricultural New Year in Shigatse is super tempting! "Gutu," a porridge made from nine ingredients, is a must-eat on the 29th day of the 12th month of the Tibetan calendar. It's the star of the show for the New Year. It contains different things like wool, chili, and charcoal, each with its own unique meaning. Paired with fragrant and mellow barley wine and crispy and sweet fried dough "Kasai," it's simply amazing. It's worth coming just for the food. 🔥Tibetan New Year (1st day of the 1st month of the Tibetan calendar) Traditionally, it is celebrated for fifteen days! There are plenty of entertainment programs, including traditional sports, Guoxie, Guozhuang, and impromptu performances🎭.
