With an altitude of 7,538 meters, it is the 45th highest peak in the world. It stands on the main ridge of the central Himalayas. The entire snow-capped mountain has three peaks, the main peak is 7,538 meters above sea level, the middle peak is 7,418 meters above sea level, and the east peak is 7,381 meters above sea level. In the northeast, there is a 7,221-meter-high Karezang Peak. There are 6 peaks over 7,000 meters standing side by side with Kula Kangri. From a distance, the peaks are shoulder to shoulder, like a towering ice and snow barrier. The north and south sides of the ridge are steep cliffs of bedrock. There are four glaciers lying in the canyon, and the two on the north side are both 10 kilometers long. There are beautiful and spectacular ice tower forests, ice cliffs, ice walls, and ice slopes on the glaciers. Frequent ice and snow avalanches often occur continuously, rumbling, thrilling. The northern foot of the mountain is the spacious Lhozhag Xiongqu, which is a valley facing east. The climate here is harsh, with frequent winds of level 7 or 8. But in mid-April each year, when everything on the north slope is still asleep, the warm current of the Indian Ocean that flows up the valley has made the south side of the valley present another world of flowers, green trees, and colorful butterflies. The climate in the Kula Kangri snow-capped mountain area is complex and changeable, similar to Mount Everest. The winter half of the year is dry and windy, which is the dry and windy season. The summer half of the year is the rainy season, showing the characteristics of a continental plateau climate. Generally speaking, the rainy season is from early June to mid-September each year.
