The Tophams Hotel, London

This time, I stayed at the Tophams Hotel in London, located at 24-32 Ebury Street. The hotel is next to Victoria Station, about a 5-minute walk away, which is very convenient. If you are coming from Gatwick Airport, the transportation is incredibly convenient! 📍🚇 The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by the best attractions in London, and just a few minutes' walk from Buckingham Palace. The hotel is decorated in a classic and cozy style, combining old and new, which is quite unique. The lobby is small but cozy, and the front desk staff are friendly 😊. However, the check-in experience is subjective. The room is a bit old, and the bed feels damp and needs to be updated. The TV in the room is a bit old, but the functions are complete. The room is not big, but the facilities are all there. The bedding is clean, but due to frequent washing, it is a bit rough, and the sleeping comfort needs to be improved 🛏️. The room is small, but the layout is reasonable. The bed and furniture are slightly worn, but still usable. The bathroom facilities are also relatively old, and sometimes feel inconvenient, especially the shower equipment, which is a bit old. The overall feeling of the accommodation is a bit like going back decades, but if you come with a nostalgic mindset, you can still enjoy it 🛁🛋️. There are many recommended restaurants and attractions near the hotel. Covent Garden is worth a visit, with various delicious restaurants, many boutique shops, and markets, perfect for shopping and leisure 🎁. Don't miss the Shard Observation Deck, where you can overlook the entire London, with a great view, especially on sunny days! 🍀 However, there are some shortcomings of the hotel. The room maintenance is a bit lacking, and some facilities are old. Especially in the bathroom, you can occasionally see stains, which need to be cleaned more thoroughly. The quality of breakfast is also uneven, sometimes good, sometimes disappointing, with a long wait time, and it is already cold when served. This is a bit disappointing 🍳🥲. Overall, the location and service are satisfactory, but if you want a more comfortable and modern stay, you may need to make some choices. I hope the hotel can improve in the future to match its excellent location and potential! 🌟
