Shanghai Museum East

Shanghai Museum East is located at No. 1952 Century Avenue, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, east to Dingxiang Road, west to Yanggao South Road, north to Century Avenue, and south to Poly Commercial Center. It forms a cultural cluster effect with cultural facilities such as Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Library East, and Oriental Art Center. The museum covers an area of about 46,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 113,200 square meters, six floors above ground and two floors underground; the total area of the exhibition area is about 33,600 square meters, with a total of 20 exhibition halls. The exhibition is mainly permanent, presenting a complete, clear, detailed, and vivid narrative of the history of ancient Chinese art, as well as four series of Haipai and Jiangnan culture, Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, and interactive experiences. Among them, the Bronze Museum, Calligraphy Museum, Painting Museum, and Seal Museum are permanent history museums at home and abroad.
