Jianlong Mountain is a great place to watch the sunrise. Transportation - Self-driving: Navigate to the Jianlong Mountain parking lot in the cornfield in Yongle Village, Ninggan Township, Tiandeng County. There is a free parking lot. - Group tour: You can choose to join a group tour with Wild Donkey. Depart from Nanning Jinhu Square at 7:30 am and arrive at the foot of the mountain at about 12:00 pm. Return at 6:30 pm. Tickets No tickets required. Equipment - Prepare a lightweight backpack, 1.5L or more of drinking water, a windbreaker, a hat, non-slip hiking shoes, a sweat towel, gloves, trekking poles, a small medicine bag, and a packed lunch. Hiking routes - 20-minute route to the top: Navigate to the Jianlong Mountain parking lot near the lighthouse in Tiandeng County, and take the left fork. Park at the open space at the "Party and Mass Service Center." Follow the mountain path with colorful flags for about 20 minutes to reach the mountain pass, then turn left and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the top. - Regular route: Start from the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and follow the winding mountain road. You will encounter a clear stream. There is a steep section halfway, so be careful. Continue climbing to reach the top. Attractions - Jianlong Ridge: The mountain is steep and the scenery is excellent. You can enjoy the magnificent mountains and rivers. - Lingquan Stream: The stream is clear and flows gently, with lush vegetation on both banks. - Wangyue Terrace: At night, you can look up at the starry sky here. It is very romantic. The location has a wide view, and you can enjoy the surrounding mountains. Accommodation and dining - Accommodation: It is recommended to book a hotel in Tiandeng County or Nanning in advance. - Dining: There are small stalls near the parking lot at the foot of the mountain that offer fried noodles and sweet soup. It is recommended to bring your own dry food and drinking water when climbing the mountain.
