Xi'an | Sheraton Xi'an Chanba Hotel has a wide variety of breakfast options, quite surprising

🚗 Yesterday, I stayed at the Hualuxe Hotel under IHG and felt that the surrounding greenery was quite nice, so I wanted to experience this newly opened Sheraton. These hotels are all together, and there is also a Marriott Le Méridien Hotel by the Chanba River, which has relatively better scenery. However, considering the smog, I ultimately chose to stay at the Sheraton. 🚗 Check-in Experience 1. Like IHG, this building is also shared by Sheraton and Fairfield. Sheraton is on the upper floors, and Fairfield is on the lower floors. 2. Overall, it feels quite good, but there are not many commercial areas around, and the available takeout options are also limited. 3. I was upgraded to a corner room upon check-in, but it faces the light rail and the office building opposite. The room is quite large, but the layout is a bit strange. There is no power outlet next to the desk, making it inconvenient for work. 4. The lobby design is very unique, and I personally like this style. There doesn't seem to be much commercial activity around. 5. The lounge experience is quite good, with many options for evening happy hour, and most importantly, it's not crowded! Unlike hotels in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, which turn into markets on weekends and you have to wait for a seat! 6. The gym and pool are on the 25th floor, much better than IHG's basement. Although there is no view, the lighting is sufficient, purely a personal preference. 7. There are many breakfast options, which is very nice. However, there are also many people, and the restaurant staff doesn't seem very professional. 8. It is next to the outlet and convention center, but a bit farther than Hualuxe. Besides the outlet, there isn't much commercial activity, definitely a newly developed area. The overall greenery is still quite good, and it's nice to come for a day of leisure on weekends occasionally. 9. There is basically no traffic congestion around, but public transportation is not very convenient. Line 3 is close to the outlet, but you have to walk a bit. You can also hear the light rail from the hotel. 10. At night, there were always strange noises in the hallway, and around 7 am, a group of people were cheering or something, making a lot of noise in the hallway and making it hard to sleep. I called the front desk to ask, and the noise reduced but continued.
