A shrine located near the center of Iki Island.
The main deities are
Sokotsutsuno-no-Mikoto,
Nakatsutsuno-no-Mikoto, and
Uwatsutsuno-no-Mikoto, who are known as "Sumiyoshi Okami."
It is said that Empress Jingu, who conquered the Three Kingdoms under the protection of Sumiyoshi Okami, landed at Oura-satsu in Gonoura-cho, Iki City on her way back and enshrined the three deities.
Within the grounds, there is a pond, and the main shrine is located beyond the bridge.
The particularly eye-catching "couple camphor trees" are a sight to behold!
