In Mangshi, an incredible natural wonder of a tree and pagoda entwined has emerged. *Location: Tree-Wrapped Pagoda, Mangshi, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province (280m northeast of Mangshi Street Garden). *Origin of the Wonder: In the 53rd year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1778 AD), the 17th Tusi of Mangshi, Fang Yuzhu, built this pagoda to commemorate a victorious war against foreign invasion, over 200 years ago. We were at the innermost part, so we had to walk a long way, which was good exercise. The room is OK, relatively new with carpet, a bathroom with separate dry and wet areas, and a wardrobe with many hangers. There are free washing machines and dryers on the first floor.
