There are over 60,000 Chinese in Mississauga, and there are quite a few Chinese shopping plazas, but the most popular one is the 'Golden Square' on Central Pkwy.
This is the main base for Chinese people living in Mississauga, a place that serves the Chinese community. From the outside, it looks like an open-air plaza, with many small shops inside. They are mostly Chinese restaurants, Chinese supermarkets, or Asian stores. There are more than a dozen Chinese restaurants in the entire plaza, a Xin Da Chinese supermarket that is no less impressive than T&T, and the supermarket supplies fresh meat, poultry, vegetables, fruits, and daily necessities that Chinese people love. Inside the plaza, there are banks, real estate brokers, travel services, Chinese medicine stores, hairdressers, and so on, everything you need.
Not only are there Chinese supermarkets and Chinese restaurants here, but also domestic banks like the Bank of China. Even if you don't speak English, you can shop and communicate with others without any barriers here, which is very convenient.
Shopping here, you will forget that you are in a foreign country, as if you are in a small county town in China, not feeling like you are abroad at all.
