I always wanted to stay here, and my dream finally came true✨ The hotel is designed to resemble a traditional Arab fort, and the guest room area is so intricately built that it feels like a maze, and I even got lost along the way. Bab Al Shams means 'Gateway to the Sun' in Arabic. The view with the morning sun shining through was truly beautiful. This is a hotel I definitely want to stay at again when I visit Dubai. Since it's a bit far from the center of Dubai, we drove there🚗

Chose late June to visit Dubai in off season - few tourists which was great, though day temperatures were almost unbearable. Around 40 during mid day. Spent a night at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort. An easy 2 hour drive from Dubai downtown. Visited nearby man made lakes and natural dunes which was fun. Hotel was awesome especially with few tourists - around 20% full only. Great design and friendly staff. Would go there again and spend a longer time.
